Ronni notes that a number of fund and money managers are closely watching gold wanting to inject money into the sector. They continue to wait for a pullback that has not come. We also discuss the formation of this bull market in comparison to prior bull markets.

    I purchased Mr. Stoferle’s book, “AUSTRIAN SCHOOL FOR INVESTORS” last week and I am about a third of the way through it.

    So far I give it two thumbs up—there is great historical context for the origins of the Austrian School, and yet the information is presented in a way that the intelligent layman can understand. You don’t need to be a geek, in other words, to benefit from this book,

    Toward the end there are some methods discussed for developing a portfolio of investments, including a discussion of Harry Browne”s Permanent Portfolio theory. Good stuff.

    Glad to hear Martin Pring being mentioned. A practical way of measuring negative real rates is using Pring’s inflation index against the TNX. You can get real time charting with Stockcharts as they carry Pring’s Indeces, as well as proprietary indicators:
