I start off today with Rick Ackerman and a focus on the precious metals, US markets and oil. It is interesting to see the price of gold and silver getting hit while the stocks are actually in positive territory right now. As for the US markets Rick continues to be bearish and play the short side which is working for him right now.

That was a very interesting discussion with Rick.
I was surprised to read Rick’s commentary this morning, and to listen to him now, about being bullish on gold and seeing this downturn as a buying opportunity. Interesting that Rick is bullish on gold and bearish on the conventionals. I certainly will take notice of Rick’s position.
Oil is fascinating though isn’t it – it is just staying up there and probably will go a few bucks higher. I think the banks want to get it over 50 bucks – perhaps once it does we will see it head back down.
I did get a kick out of the post on Rick’s home page about the Clown target audience for Mother Felon”s speech.
Precious metals have entered an intermediate decline. Smack down has just begun.

The rally was fueled at a level to this present time that is considered extremely over bought condition. The oversold condition has disappeared from the market place.
