The US economy is very good at muddling through!
But at what price? Congress has over-borrowed, in order to be able to over-promise and over-spend.
To accommodate the incredibly large debt burden, the Federal Reserve has deliberately manipulated interest rates low.
To make it “appear” that there is no problem with the markets, QE has been used to enable the buying of stocks and bonds, so that the prices no longer maintain any correlation to historic normality.
We are muddling through, so far!
But for how much longer can it continue?
Pensions and insurance companies are paying a heavy price.
Taxes WILL have to rise to pay public employee pensions, but that will create an even greater drag on the economy, which is already over-burdened by taxation.
If we continue along this path much longer the economy WILL be destroyed.
The only question is exactly when, and how badly.

It’s very sad that some people choose to subscribe to fantasy and conspiracy theory rather than embracing life and taking control of their own future.
They live in fear, and they propagate fear. They are drawn to fear porn to satisfy some carnal craving.
Rather then being optimistic and hopeful, everything is negative and dark.
It is a terrible way to go through life. They are like cripples.
They swallow every conspiracy theory and every fantasy some you tuber sends their way.
Whether is it FEMA camps, or NWO, or illuminati, or fluoride in toothpaste, these conspiracy crackpots swallow everything hook line and sinker.
They think they are independent thinkers, in the know, but the reality is they are mindless robots that have no ability to judge and discern for themselves.
They subscribe to the belief that if somebody says it it must be true.
Rather than grabbing life with gusto they cling to fairytales and propaganda.
The sad fact of the matter is their could be some truth in some conspiracy theories.
But these fear mongers live in a perpetual state of thinking a fema camp is always right around the corner or ww III is always breaking out, or the entire world economy is always going to crash.
They have failed in most aspects of their life so this way of thinking gives them a convenient cop out.
After all they are not in control, some evil government is, or some greedy corporation, or some UFO.
This way they don’t have to take responsibility for their own actions.
Since they haven’t and cannot achieve success they want to see others fail as well.
Rather then pulling people up they drag people down.
For those of you that might stumble onto this site and come across this type of person, my advice is too avoid them at all costs. They are poison.

Today, the truth is a rare commodity. When destruction arrives

In addition, the destruction will be unfathomable. The weapons
that are used now are in some cases 100’s of times more
lethal.
Entire nations could disappear. Do your due diligence. This is
not something to take for granted. Not at all. !!!
The point being, that people need to get right with the creator
before anything like this ever happens. Its too late after the
fact and loss of life.
Instead, we have a world that is completely deceived and
spiritually bankrupt. Words can’t describe what a tragedy
this setting up to be.
Furthermore, these kinds of remarks from people are very
common. Its the broad road. The road that leads mostly
everyone to destruction.
No surprise here. People have chosen their own destiny.
They refuse the truth. They seek after the world.

I’ve followed Mr Ackerman’s public site for many years, although not as a subscriber, and his trading methods seem to work very well. With that in mind, he should stop his permabear bloviating, especially if he is right in the movement of the equity indexes near term. A breakout, defined as close at least 2% above the prior highs in the US stock indexes with the Dow, SP5 Nasdaq- and at least one of the Russell 3K or Wilshire 5K, for breadth purposes-making new all time highs. If that occurs, after an 18 month trading range, that implies a new cyclic leg higher that would run for months or years. It would also confirm that a classic debt deflation, ala 1930-33 in the US, WILL NOT HAPPEN. Deflation had its best chance in 2008-9 and was stuffed on 4th and goal at the 2 by central bank and government scamming, which is possible due to totally fiat money and credit systems and it remains possible today. So an SP5 close at 2170 or more, and similar moves in the indexes noted above, will start a new major leg higher in stocks and kill the true deflationary possibility for good. A false breakout, followed by a major drop, could occur but the SP5 would have to limit the new closing high to 20-25 points at most beyond the 2135 high of last year.
With that, I’d also note that I can easily see a major 50%+ type drop in stocks but it’s because I believe this trading range of the past 18 months can dertainlyy be a large top of major import when viewed on a long term chart(and I’d truly like to hear why Mr Ackerman thinks its most unlikely-it might not be but the possibility seems too large to not give it at least equal likelihood as a consolidation). A big piece of the evidence for a top to me is the level of valuation for equities, which I do not recall you folks or Mr Ackerman ever discussing much or at all. Also, I can see a simple Elliott Wave(often an oxymoron) big picture view calling for a major peak: Wave 1 was 1932-66, 2 was 66-74, 3 was 74-2000, 4 was 2000-09, 5 is 2009-now;as to how this 5 since 09 is to finish(and certainly its close if not already done) i’ll that to the Elliott fanatics.
Finally(believe it or not) I found Mr Korelin;s comments of interest. I would say that I took it that he implied major coordinated manipulation by central banks, governments and the largest global financial firms to keep financial asset prices high and then higher(again, valuations on US equities are, in some broad measures like vs revenue, etc,. the highest ever) still. Many of the people who have money in the financial markets may ‘want’ to avoid another massive decline and keep prices going higher still, but their desires vs, that of anything like a relatively free market are irrelevant. Believe it or not, I forgot to say that in no way do I believe that a sharp move higher in ‘risk assets’ implies anything that could be called a ‘good’ real economic outcome-the very best would be a continued wheezing advance with low capital investment and terrible employment results, that manages to hold above the formal recession line. And with the general pattern of macro economic weakening globally over the last year(occasional bounces notwithstanding), that may be hard to sustain.
One more, those that seek after this world, that is not good
and is evil you now are a guilty party embracing this ungodly
wicked planet. Which makes that party/person an enemy of
the creator. There is absolutely nothing good here. Wait till
destruction arrives. Mother nature will always prevail too.

now at a tipping point.

Does anyone know what a flowing barrel is worth in 06/2016? I doubt the market has figured it out yet.
Anderson Exploration was once a darling of the Jr. oil markets, it’s new entity Anderson Energy Inc. just went through a massive 1000:1 reverse split, retiring $46MM in debt by issuing an insane amount of shares to existing private debt holders, 17.7 Bliion shares at $0.005 before the split and now 17 Million shares at $5.00 (1000X higher share price).
How did the market react? It tanked -43% on the first day post-split, it’s likely heading to around $2.70/share say some oil analysts, making it worth a number near 0.0025 PRE-split per share… 1800 BBL/day, No debt now, Drilling inventory, Good land position, …
If the BREXIT vote is YES to leave and GPB and EURO shrink in % against the $USD then the dollar will soar and Short term oil will sink against a rising dollar, but the lower oil goes short term the more unstable OPEC and the Mideast region becomes. The point is, any spark in the powder keg of the Mideast, Russia, Saudi/Iran could be preceded by lower oil prices which strangles the countries dependent on them.
So the bigger question, what is a flowing barrel in western Canada worth 3-5 years from now if the replacement barrels come from the east, versus what if the region becomes unglued and that oil is no longer available for export at low prices and we produce and consume more Domestic oil? we cannot know until we cross that bridge but a company with 1800 BBLs trading at a quarter of a penny equivalent seems like a pretty interesting bargain to me.

What is $5,000,000 USD in Cash worth to a CDN Junior by Sept 27,2016?
PMI Resources Ltd. symbol PMI (formerly Petromanas Resources Inc.) just completed a 70:1 reverse split after returning 0.08 cents cash to shareholders, the shares traded as high as $0.085 to $0.09 cents before Shell Oil Canada made the offer to buy out The Albania assets of PMI for 8 cents. A return of capital put $45MM USD into the hands of PMI and $5MM (Five Million in cash) was put in escrow until all the land, permits, assets were transferred to Shell by the fall.
By Approximately Sept. 27, 2016 (subject to delays, changes etc) the ($5,000,000) is due to be disbursed to PMI.
So pre-reverse split there were 693 million shares of PMI and post-split there are 9.9 Million shares of PMI which means 5,000,000 cash/9.9 million shares puts around $0.505 USD cash value for each share of PMI.
However the exchange rate June 21 is approx 1.28 CDN : $1.00 USD so the shares in Canada trade at $0.70 under symbol PMI, where in the USA they trade as PENYD (formerly PENYF).
If Brexit vote is yes, and the Euro:USD rate changes in a way that will boost the value of the $USD then the 1.28 exchange rate might see 4%+ boost some currency traders have speculated. If that were to occur and any irrational moves in other currencies benefited the $USD we could see the dollar stronger by the timeframe that PMi gets access to all this cash.
Fiore Financial run by Billionaire Frank Guistra is handling the sale to shell oil and other than a gas well in France little PMI has no other assets except for this incoming $5MMin cash.
Assuming Frank has any say as the largest private shareholder of PMI what is done with the incoming Cash, it will be interesting to see how PMI resources ltd. reacts to this upcoming Brexit vote… as those who followed its journey will either interpret a Brexit “YES” vote as positive for the dollar or a ‘no’ vote as weakening for the dollar.
The big question is what is cash worth and particularly King Dollar $USD worth in this market going into the fall.
We will know by Friday after Thursday’s vote. stay tuned.
