How long could this pullback in gold last
Doc joins us today to look at the pullback we are seeing in gold. We take a look a some lower numbers that gold needs to hold which interestingly correspond to what Rick is looking for. We also touch on the US dollar which has been weak all year. This is where Doc and I differ from Rick’s outlook.

I like the Doc’s analysis, but wonder if the dollar can be week as Europe declines and with the problems Asian economies and emerging markets….e.g. Brazil.
I know central banks continue to prop up markets, but if the economies decline, this will become increasingly difficult, as already expensive valuations become even more over-valued.
Will not a potential move towards safety not enhance the attractiveness of gold?
I suspect the fate of gold will be tied to the fate of the EU for longer than many think.
But I base my analysis on fundamentals, not charts.
As do I, long term, Cfs!
But Doc, Cory and Rick are pretty good.
Damned iPad….weak is NOT week.
I’ pretty sure I typed problems in or of Asian markets, but with the pathetic slowness of my iPad connection, it gets behind and drops words.
Oh, to be back living in California!
Apologies to the rest of you, for my errors…..and inability to control my iPad.
Way to go America….

Just call me, CashForSilver, CFS….
Probably less than 2% here in the USA hold 90% of Ag.
How about “Tenured Professor”?
One on my follow list, but I’m not a shareholder…..
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA–(Marketwired – June 21, 2016) – Coral Gold Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:CLH)(OTCBB:CLHRF)(BERLIN:GV8)(FRANKFURT:GV8) (“Company” or “Coral”): The Company announces that it has entered into a purchase and sale agreement (the “Agreement”) with Barrick Cortez Inc. (“Barrick”), a subsidiary of Barrick Gold Corp., for the sale of the Robertson Property in Lander County, Nevada, to Barrick in consideration of:
The payment to Coral of US$15.75 million (Cdn $20.17 million based on the current exchange rate) in cash (the “Cash Consideration”) on closing;
The return of 4,150,000 common shares of Coral held by Barrick (which represent approximately 8.7% of the Company’s basic common shares outstanding as of June 20, 2016) for cancellation by the Company (the “Share Reduction”); and
A sliding scale 1% to 2.25% net smelter returns royalty (the “NSR”) on the Robertson Property, payable quarterly, subject to potential advance royalty payments as outlined below, as well as a right of first refusal enabling Barrick to acquire the NSR in the event that the Company wishes to sell the NSR to any third party (the “Transaction”).
Nice jump today!
Yep, I tried to get a stink bid order filled on Coral Gold today, before the news was absorbed, but then it popped out of range….. Oh well, it looks like good news for shareholders.
Great managrment, I like the Wolf in family a lot!
seems they just sold the reason to own this stock. the property they were developing!. well now they can start over & shop for a new one. they are kind of like canarc in that they are cash rich starting over again.
Those were my thoughts on it as well, and they got a Net Smelter Royalty out of it as well, so it isn’t just the cash. Also, those with cash can do well as this is a buyers market in the PM miners.
Good show boys. I think your bang on Doc. This bull market hasnt even really begun. A couple years out though these stocks should do great. The hard part is a lot of the easy money has already been made. Several stocks have already went up 4-5 times in a very short period of time. The hard part is finding the 4-5 baggers from here. Finding those gems that have a tonne of upside.
Ronny very correct. Many people haven’t even considered the fact that as we move back to the highs for gold, many of the mid tiers and high capitalization stocks will not only challenge their past highs but in all likelihood will take them out for all time highs. I say that since I believe when all is said and done the PMs will not only challenge their highs but entertain prices well above their all time highs.
God point, Doc!
I agree new highs are coming. Going to be a great few years for the sector.
Ronny, reading this forum at least will give you a good place to start.
A lot of good names have been given on weekend shows in the last few months in this blog…..just an extra bit of due diligence required.
Thanks much Tenured!
Thanks CFS. I agree and I have gotten some ideas from this site. One company that I think has great potential right now is AGC Amarillo Gold.
That’s too long term for me.
Amarillo is only going to sub-contract processing tailings from very old workings in the near future, as ar as I know.
Brazil is always an interesting potential location, and likely to be an inexpensive one as the economy tanks.
They did a PFS in 2011 and it delivered AISC of only $524 an oz. Since then Brazils currency has dropped half it’s value. They have also changed the pit design, and are going to rent their equipment instead of buying it. So I expect the Capex to drop significantly. New numbers will be attractive. New resource statement and updated PFS coming soon. They need the tailings removed in order to develop the Maria Rosa. It’s definitely going to be a winner.
