A quick market wrap for everyone to consider moving into tonight. I outline a couple resistant level that I think the S&P and USD will have trouble pushing through. Also we need to be aware of the ECB meeting conclusion with announcement early tomorrow.

The US after The Lyndon Johnson years has become a nation of poverty. There is no guarantee against poverty equal to a job for every man and woman. People heed a job not welfare. DT

Trump will win just like the Breexit, the poll are rigged.

    Oct 19, 2016 19:04 PM

Only Trump can expose so many on all different levels. He’s the right man at the right time! No one else could do what he has done. Nobody!

Being biased is a form of rigging in these debates; whenever the moderator asks a question the first person he directs the question to is Hillary Clinton. DT

Hillary can distract and deflect with the best of them. She is a great liar, however, it no longer works for her.
Hillary will loose the election, “if” it’s not rigged. I think they are rigging the polls because the voting machines (owned by Soros) will be rigged.

    Interesting times…

A great deal of time was just invested into preparing a post for a friend on CEO regarding which mining companies have the most leverage to rising prices. Some of it has been tweaked and updated from posts on the weekend show, but I thought I’d post these Charts & thoughts here for anyone that likes investing in the higher risk mining companies: (in pieces since we can only do one link at a time)
    ___________________________________________________________________________

@Excelsior – “It has generally been the Small #Producers, #Development Stage companies and #Explorers that have outperformed the #Majors , #Midtiers, and #Streaming companies in a bull market. There is virtually nothing that can best a hot #Exploration company with a big discovery, but these are incredibly hard to pick and it is like picking a needle in the haystack. This is the biggest reason people follow winning management teams, because success leaves clues. I love exploration plays, but generally focus on the Small Producers and Development Stage companies because they have already de-risked their projects some and have proof of concept through a PEA or Feasibility Study, the permitting is on track, they may have some infrastructure in place, or they are already producing. The ones that have exploration upside in addition to this are the real gems.

Before I get to the discussion of which Gold miners have the most leverage to rising metals prices, I am going to circle back around to the Silver Miners to illustrate this point. Here is graphical answer of the report cards Year-To-Date to take the opinion & bias out of things and simply show the data

To start, while I believe First Majestic is a well-run company and did very well this year, it is FAR from the best performer nor does it have the most leverage in the Silver mining sector:

*It is easy to see the out-performance of the Smaller Jr Silver Producers and Jr Silver Development companies over First Majestic on this Comparative YTD Line Chart. (you can click & hover on each of the colored lines to highlight the differ companies ticker):

Americas Silver, Impact, Excellon, Santacruz, are the Small Silver Producers
Aurcana, Alexco, Bear Creek, Brixton, and Minco, are the Jr Silver Development companies

—> Again, First Majestic outperformed most of the larger #Silver companies, so you’ll see this was the case with the Silver Majors compared to the Silver Jrs on the following few charts:

**It is easy to see the out-performance of the Smaller Silver Producers over the Larger Sr. Silver Producers:

Impact, Excellon, Americas Silver, and Santacruz are the small Silver Producers
Tahoe, Fresnillo, Pan American, Silver Standard, and Endeavour are the Sr Silver Producers

—–> OK, so having laid out the scenario with Silver miners, let’s now look at the Gold Miners. Again, just like with Silver, the largest percentage gains will come from the Exploration companies, but they are like finding a needle in the haystack = follow the winning teams. I’m not going to get into the Explorers in this though because there are hundreds of them. We’ll look at the Small producers and Development Stage companies.

—> First of all if you had asked me earlier in the year I would have told you my favorite 2 Gold companies were Jaguar Mining as the best turn-around story in the Small Gold Producers, and Mexus Gold was my favorite Gold Development -Stage company. (I even threw Mexus into the mix for the 2016 #GuruChallenge ) I was posting about them both all year on the KER, but didn’t join CEO until this summer. Regardless there are very few following Jaguar or Mexus if you check out their rooms. I like dozens of Gold companies but since those get so little focus I thought I’d mention them again.

****It is easy to see the out-performance of the Smaller Gold Producers over GDX and GDXJ (proxies for they household Sr Gold Majors, Mid-tiers, and Streamers):
      {many of the companies I would have put on this list were also already acquired this year Claude, Lakeshore Gold, Newmarket}

Argonaut Gold, Jaguar Gold, Richmont Mines, Marlin Gold, Gold Resource, Caledonia Mining, Klondex, and McEwen Mining.

@MiningBookGuy @TheNextBigRush and @Jayfire have a new ‘informal chat’ segment.

@MiningbookGuy makes some good points about “near term optionality” plays versus the other “need much higher metal prices optionality” plays. @TheNextBigRush makes a good point about how gains of “only 100%” may be cutting things very early in a mining stock’s run, and the question becomes what do you do with those profits? Should you enter the profits into another company, or hold the cash to buy back the original company on a pullback? @Jayfighter makes some great remarks about how Exploration plays can be some of the most explosive gains, but that they are high risk. He also highlights the value in the Jr Producers and Development-Stage companies as having upside but being more de-risked.

100% ROI is just the beginning
