Yahnnis Varufakis is the most astute economist on the 2008-rolling Greek/Euro and global financial crisis out there. He knows the endgame and says if Germany continues its exported austerity path on Southern Europe they will be the one in the end who will be hurt by the E.U’s zone’s implosion. It is truly amazing how long this can-kicking exercise has gone on!

CFS….Great interview! I wish there were more level headed conversations out there….especially on this site. Thanks.

The price of Super Bowl tickets in Houston plunged 20% after the Cowboys lost. Now the nosebleed seats are just $3350. Is this a good buy, Doc, or will they drop more?

      Jan 16, 2017 16:24 PM

BB, for that great price you probably get to sit behind a post in the last row of the upper deck.

Excelsior – just wanted to thank you for what you posted over the weekend re uranium. I had a good read through it but am going to have to go back and digest it again.

Just wanted to thank you for taking the time to write what you did.

Bob UK – Always glad to share some ideas on the Uranium Sector. A number of other contributors weighed in with different articles, charts and perspectives, so it became a fun thread indeed.

      A jolly good weekend show!

Martlin L . day……and there was still trash pick up today.
Talk about trash. Jocks with to much money, talking trash to the officials.
The circus, in town will be no more, or at least the 140 yrs of animal abuse will be history in March of this year , Ringling Brothers , bye, bye. But, the real circus is in DC., where the elephants will be jumping through rings of fire to legislate a new beginning.
I see on Zerohedge 8 men own more than 50% of the world’s wealth, they had a dream. These men mostly gained wealth in a real short time period…..of monopoly…and still want more. They figured out how to steal directly through the govt…..Warren, Gates…
Now , how about kick backs to Bozo THe clown Bezo….who just got Obama’s approval to use SNAP cards for Amazon purchases. Do they sell food on Amazon, Oh well what a dream……….Just ranting for the day.

Amazon sells a lot of things, good prices and so convenient!

      But they need boycotting.

      Bezos = jerk.

Dont no if you can blame them for wanting more jerry.
    its human nature.

Its a rare person that knows they have enough.

Most people are after more, look at these “successful” investors here, they have what they imply is large sums, they could forget concerns and live the rest of their lives in luxury, but they are after more, its just human nature, no matter how much we have.

Those 8 people had the opportunity and are just smart enough to end up with 50% of the worlds wealth. How many people wouldnt if they could?

So I dont no if “blame” is really fair

      Jan 16, 2017 16:11 PM

I am not sure i am blaming them , … The method of which they acquired such wealth may be a question. I think a few of these successful investor had a great advantage , with the assistance of govt…..

      Does b = blurry?

On the one hand you condemn the international violence, and on the other hand you rationalize it?

New Video Exposes Anti-Trump Groups Plotting Criminal Acts To Disrupt Inauguration

In the latest undercover video from Project Veritas, investigators uncovered a group of protesters known as the DC Anti-fascist Coalition plotting to disrupt President-Elect Donald Trump’s inauguration by deploying butyric acid (aka “stink bombs”) at the National Press Club during the Deploraball event scheduled for January 19th.

In a dose of irony, the planning meeting for the attack was held at Comet Ping Pong, the DC pizza restaurant that recently gained infamy as the location of the Pizzagate controversy.

Apparently “Plan A” of the disaffected agitators was to set off “stink bombs” in the ventilation systems of the building hosting the “Deploraball.”

Gold @ $1216 and Silver at $17.01. A nice start to the trading week if these don’t reverse at the open.

      Jan 17, 2017 17:37 AM

And that’s the big if……..I’ve had too many mornings where I’m getting excited about the day because gold is up nicely. Then I drive into work and the screen is red at work.

        Jan 17, 2017 17:50 AM

True, but I’ve I’ve scanning the news services and there are a number of positive updates for the miners hitting the wires, and it’s going to be the turbulent inauguration week, which may give the precious metals a bid. I agree though, that proof will be in the closing price pudding.

          Jan 17, 2017 17:43 PM

Yep – It was a positive day for sure!
