Like Rick, Chris is still keeping the door open to a bit of a correction in U.S. conventional equities.

What just caused silver to do that?

Oh, how times have changed at the MONEY SHOW. I think I went 2003-2008, Except one year, and 3/4 of exhibitors were natural resource companies.

Looks like AVI’s $17.85 will hold for Silver, let’s hope so, he suggesting a rapid move to $19 from here.

I am usually an equal opportunity opposer of political figures, but I will say something that I consider most positive about President Trump.
At least he is not a crackhead like Obama. He does not even consume alcohol; no wonder he has such energy.
I cannot see him releasing many scum felonious drug dealers from prison.
I can see a wall, when it is built slowing illegal leeches from joining the welfare system.
I can see the wall stopping the draining of cash sent from illegal workers out of the country.
I can see the reduction of drugs coming into the country and much of the cash used to buy illegal drugs no longer being sent out of the country.
Unfortunately I can see marijuana being legalized, not because it will be good for the citizens, but because it will be another source of taxation for the political leeches that control the United States. I just hope the penalty for causing an auto accident under the influence of pot will include the confiscation of the vehicle and loss of driving license for an extended period of time.

Why are you worrying about cash being taken out of the US via the Mexican border?

Surely, even billions would pale into insignificance alongside the vast sums that the likes of the US State Department, CIA, etc, etc, fly out in 747’s to places like Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.

Also, if you want the benefits from being the world reserve currency then that means that USD is used more outside of the US than within. How many tens of billions of USD are traded globally daily at the press of some buttons?

Many of the speakers listed on the Money Show website are tagged “Cannabis.”
Is that a sector worth investing in?

Got quite an education on this and will have some details in my next newsletter, together with inside tracks on my first recommendations coming.

Hallo Gentleman same Natural Gas Companies on the ( Radar ) ! ?

      Feb 11, 2017 11:59 AM

Getting there…still a little early as the gas price may not have bottomed yet (though I’m watching one trendline that the price is right on.)

Excellent comments by Chris. Those overseas dollars won’t be spent on capacity until utilization rates are higher. Stock buybacks will drive the markets to a higher level, where they will experience a terrific swan dive. JMO

I suspect the Fed resignation is very significant . . . just don’t know why yet.

Chris Temple – I’m a huge fan (an shareholder) of Polymet and they are moving towards production on their Nickel/Copper/PGM mining, have received most of the key permits needed now, and the Duluth complex is very mineral endowed. In addition, they have all their infrastructure already in place on their adjacent land.

Oops. I had multiple windows of the KER open at once and posted that John Kaiser interview link into the response above about Polymet, but they are unrelated.

Well, I guess to John K’s point, financing will be flocking to projects like Polymet’s. 🙂

I visited North Met project many years back when under previous ownership. Didn’t like it. Then I stumbled across a news story about new management buying the old LTV mill in the area and revisited the story. Got Members in sub-30 cents and sold later with another zero added to the price and then some!
