WILL TRUMP AND THE PRESS EVER SEE EYE TO EYE?
Maybe when Trump owns the Press.

But the question remains, Steven. Who is doing the right thing?

Please give an opinion on this.

AL as I understand it Trump might do some good if he is not obstructed and if he can get the best advice and protection possible. He is not the final solution to the nations problems but he is far better than Hillary Clinton. If allowed to rule he will try to lead the nation away from the worst of what it was heading into and this may allow for something better to emerge in terms of leadership and policy reform. No one in the legal political arena is perfect at this time. I think it is a matter of who is going to do the least harm and if they do what is good for the nation, founding peoples, faith and family then that is a very good and noble thing.

Re: Seg 4….The last question of the show.
The press is liberal thinking, simply, in my opinion, because of the type of people that have become reporters.
Typically they come not from science and engineering backgrounds, but from humanities and the arts. Scientists and engineers are paid more than reporters and have better opportunities than in the news media business. Folks from the humanities and the arts, however, have always come in general from a more liberal background. (Possibly because university educators tend to be more liberal-leaning.) It appears to me that society, post World War II has become more and more polarized; almost to the point now wherein the “Main Stream Media” is totally promoting only liberal, even Marxist view-points. The conservative or right-wing point of view is more and more relegated to the “Alternative” media; the internet, etc.
Society, as a whole, however, is not as polarized. Hence the increasingly poor acceptance of main stream media and the increasing general acceptance of alternative news and the internet.

“Total Scam” – Trump Slams NBC Coverage Of “Phony Russian Story”

It would not be a Saturday morning if President Trump did not take to Twitter to vent about his latest grievance. This time he took aim at NBC News and in particular Chuck Todd…

I am getting sick and tired of all this going back and forth. At this point, I simply wish that Trump would start acting presidential and stop acting like a Jersey Brawler because up to this point nothing positive has happened other than a major pop in the stock market.

I certainly did not vote for this type of future.

Bill Maher: “Hillary, Stay In The Woods. You Had Your Shot. You F**ked It Up”

Bill Maher, host of HBO’s “Real Time,” finally said something on his late night talk show that seems to make some level of sense. Just as Hillary has started to take a more active role in organizing the Donald Trump “Resistance” movement, a move that has sparked rumors of yet another presidential run in 2020, Maher took to the airwaves to implore Clinton to go back to the woods where she ‘found’ herself just a few weeks ago.

That is an excellent interview, which I recommend to all interested.
It , perhaps, fails to state just how bad is the advice that Trump is getting from Ryan (a total Rhino or RINO; I never know which is correct) or from Priebus (a neocon), more interested is aiding lobbyists than the general public.
Once the camel of the single payer has its nose under the tent there will be no retreat.
we could discuss the merits of Universal Healthcare, for which many advocate. However, in my experience Governments NEVER run anything efficiently. I believe the citizens of the UK and Canada are blinded by the obfuscation of “free” and little realize how poor their systems truly are.

        Apr 01, 2017 01:52 AM

        CFS:

By objective measurements, the UK, France and Canada all have better medical systems than the US. It’s ok for you to have your own opinion but it’s not ok for you to have your own facts. Factually their health care is better and cheaper.

          Apr 01, 2017 01:59 PM

I haven’t listened yet, but is there anything that could be done to improve the UK/France/Canada systems, or have they basically achieved perfection?

I agree Mr. Moriarty, as long as you are healthy, the UK and Canadian systems are great.

          Some random stats:
Number of Physicians per 1000 of population (about 10 years ago) I haven’t bother to check 2016 stats:

          Switzerland: 3.6
          Germany 3.4
          Sweden 3.3
          France 3.3
          Denmark 2.9
          US 2.3
          UK 2.2
          Canada 2.1

I wonder why BUPA exists and is used by most well educated and wealthy people in the U.K.
I wonder why BUPA has hospitals separate from the NHS in the UK.

I know the CAT scan was invented in the UK by EMI, but have you checked the wait-times in the UK for MRIs or CAT scans?

          Or how about gamma-ray imagers?
Last time I checked a few years ago, (having retired to England) they don’t have any do they!

I agree the US healthcare is expensive. The most expensive, with lots of room for improvement.
There were lots of reasons why European countries were better places to live, but healthcare is not one of them.

So I moved to the US.

Did you know that a CAT scan, depending on how it is done, has the radiation of 100 to 500 chest x-rays? Surely it is worth it in some situations, but they perform them far too routinely.

GH, It is just necessary sometimes. The only way to exactly locate in 3-D, for example, a brain tumor. You cannot exactly go rummaging around in the brain to find the tumor by surgery.
I do admit some tests are overly used just to protect the doctor against lawsuits.
That’s where tort reform might reduce the cost of medical care.
That is also why gamma-ray imaging is important to locate the lymphatic system nodes.
Relatively new technology, which exists at a few locations in the US and not in Europe.
The radio-active material injected into one is not exactly without risk, but …..

I definitely agree, it is a very valuable tool for some situations.

An example of overuse. Someone I know recently had abdominal pain and their doctor wanted to do a CAT scan. The symptoms suggested a kidney stone in the process of passing. I suggested looking into less invasive options as a first course of action, e.g. an ultrasound, to be followed by a CAT scan only if it still seemed necessary. The CAT scan was postponed, and the stone was passed the next day. Problem solved, and no Russian CAT scan roulette. B/c as I understand the science, a certain percentage of CAT scan recipients WILL develop cancer as a direct result.

Side note on kidney stones, illustrating the argument that our medical system often, perhaps usually, resorts to sub-optimal treatment approaches. Many people have found relief using natural products that seem to have few to no negative side effects. Of course, I’m not a doctor, just someone with a biology degree and an interest in ‘natural health’ approaches. The moral of the story–do your own due diligence, you will often be amazed at what you find, and dismayed that your health care professional didn’t tell you about it.

Those countries still have debt problems and are still trying to import the third world to the extinction of their founding peoples. Our big problem as a subspecies of mankind is we tend to lack a morality that includes our own existence. Those that lack that problem tend to get called racist.

          James Howard Kunstler:

          http://kunstler.com/clusterfuck-nation/racket-of-rackets/

“The system is one of engineered criminality. It is inflicting ruin on millions…

There are only two plausible arcs to this story. One is that the nation might face the facts and resort to the Single Payer system found in virtually every other nation that pretends to be civilized. There is no other way to eliminate the deliberate racketeering. The other outcome would be the inevitable collapse of the system and its eventual re-set to a much less complex, cash-on-the-barrelhead, local clinic-based model with far less heroic high-tech interventions available for the broad public, but much more affordable basic care.”

I don’t know if he is correct that these are the only two possibilities, but if he is, I lean toward the latter.

Heroic interventions are incomparably less important than healthier lifestyles. Probably the greatest crime in all of this is the smokescreen put out by all those that profit off Americans’ ill health to sow confusion about what is actually healthy, and what is not.

Must Listen Audio From Dr. Dave Janda – By Turd Ferguson | Saturday, April 1, 2017

With the failure of Trump-Ryan Care last week, many have been left wondering what the heck made the legislation so terrible that even the Republican Party couldn’t unite behind it. To help clear the air, our friend Dr. Dave Janda stopped by last Thursday to explain exactly what was wrong with the proposed “Repeal & Replace” plan for Obamacare.

Many of you will recognize this as just a segment of the A2A recording from last Thursday.

But I thought it was important to carve off just this healthcare segment and give it its own thread. Why? Because other than Dr. Janda, who has the time to pour over the entire piece of Trump-Ryan legislation? You might have heard that Trump-Ryan did this or that and that it was terrible or terrific. To cut the the chase, Dr. Janda summarizes what made the bill a disaster, which sacred cows it was designed to protect and just who and what would would have benefited by its passage.

Regardless of whether or not you caught this audio when it was first released back on Thursday, please take some time to listen to it again now. And when you’re done, please forward the link to anyone you know who has questions or concerns regarding this critical piece of healthcare legislation.

Specifically Obama (guilty of crimes several orders greater than Watergate), and the Clintons with their pay-to-play corruption and tax evasion, will never be held to account; let alone spend one minute in jail.

NEW YORK (AP) — In response to a New York Times report, Fox News host Bill O’Reilly says in a statement posted to his website that he is “vulnerable to lawsuits” because of his high-profile job.

The newspaper reported Saturday on payouts made to settle accusations of sexual harassment and other inappropriate behavior. The Times ( http://nyti.ms/2nHTteJ ) reported that O’Reilly or Fox News Channel’s owner, 21st Century Fox, have paid $13 million to five women over these complaints.

21st Century Fox did not reply to questions about the allegations but said in a statement Saturday that it had looked into “these matters” in the past few months and discussed them with O’Reilly. The company said O’Reilly “resolved those he regarded as his personal responsibility” although he denied their merits.

Former Fox head Roger Ailes left last summer amid sexual harassment charges.

China To Establish New Economic Zone Near Beijing
Associated Press – Sat Apr 1, 7:38AM CDT
BEIJING (AP) — China announced Saturday that it is going to establish a special economic area in a province neighboring Beijing as part of a plan to integrate the capital with its surrounding areas.

The government says the Xiongan New Area in Hebei province will have national significance like the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, China’s first free-market economic zone set up in 1980 as the country was beginning economic reforms, the official Xinhua News Agency reported. The creation of the new area is a “major historic and strategic choice,” Xinhua said, citing a circular issued by the Communist Party’s central committee and China’s Cabinet.

The Xiongan New Area will eventually cover 2,000 square kilometers (772 square miles) and be located about 100 kilometers (60 miles) from downtown Beijing.

Since 2014, the government has planned to jointly develop Beijing, the port city of Tianjin and Hebei province to boost regional and economic development in the northern region, and bridge the economic disparity between the capital and the industrial and rural areas surrounding it.

$4.24M Verdict In Pennsylvania Drilling Lawsuit Tossed
By RON TODT – Associated Press – 11 minutes ago
A federal judge has thrown out a $4.24 million jury verdict against one of the largest natural gas producers in Pennsylvania and ordered a new trial in a lawsuit alleging Houston-based Cabot Oil & Gas Corp. contaminated the well water of two families.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Martin Carlson on Friday set aside the verdict reached a year ago by a jury in Scranton, saying the evidence presented by the Dimock homeowners “was spare, sometimes contradictory, frequently rebutted by other scientific expert testimony, and relied in some measure upon tenuous inferences.”

Carlson also said the plaintiffs presented no evidence that would justify a multi-million dollar award.

The judge, however, declined to decide the case in favor of the company and, instead, ordered a new trial. He said that before any trial, the parties should have settlement discussions with the aid of another judge.

Dimock was the scene of the most highly publicized case of methane contamination to emerge from the early days of Pennsylvania’s natural-gas drilling boom. Dozens of plaintiffs settled with Cabot in 2012, but two families opted to take their case to trial.

The rural community and its fight against fracking, a method used by drilling companies to extract oil and gas from underground rock, also was featured in the Emmy-winning 2010 documentary “Gasland.”

Cabot hailed the judge’s Friday decision, saying in a statement that it had been confident that “once a thorough review of the overwhelming scientific evidence and a full legal analysis of the conduct of the plaintiffs’ counsel was conducted, the flaws in the verdict would be understood.”

I have been keeping statistics on protests occurring against conservative speakers at US universities. This happening with sufficient frequency to be statistically meaningful. There are now well over a hundred examples of a speaker being un-invited.
Several comments may be made for an un-invitation:
    1. It is occurring more frequently.
    2. The higher the average reported SAT student score at the university, the more probable it is.
I guess that implies that the better a university is, the more radically liberal it is……!

The profit motive seems to affect 99% of those who end up in Washington, whether elected or staff. With all the billions flowing from the interest groups (both sides) it isn’t long before one realizes that their future depends on making friends with and aligning with some group, organization, or industry. Before long, they ‘got you’ and your only escape is to leave and find a career elsewhere. Actually most of them do enter the revolving door and find gifted positions with the banks, corporations or law firms which pulled your puppet strings while you were in Washington. Even the retired military plays the game. So yes, whether for profit or personal aggrandizement, the vast percentage end up playing the game. Most people can be bought whether we like to think that’s true or not. Each simply has to run into the right circumstance where their personal action is desired by someone willing to meet the price. Those who think they’re not in this group simply haven’t been exposed to that circumstance.
This reminds me of a line by Steinbeck: It has always seemed strange to me… the things we admire in men, kindness and generosity, openness, honesty, understanding and feeling, are the concomitants of failure in our system. And those traits we detest, sharpness, greed, acquisitiveness, meanness, egotism and self-interest, are the traits of success. And while men admire the quality of the first they love the produce of the second. John Stienbeck

It’s cynically hilarious, the cooked-up tizzy about Russian meddling in US elections, while it is common knowledge and accepted as ‘situation normal’ that AIPAC constantly makes and breaks US politicians.

The presidency has been in shambles long before Trump arrived….

    Apr 02, 2017 02:20 AM

I get a good chuckle every time I hear serfdom critsize Trump.

Here’s a little something that went unnoticed by many. The most corrupt bank in Switzerland got raided Friday. Gold bullion was confiscated along with thousands of accounts. They housed the stolen gold from Asia and used it for black-budget oops. Think about how much gold that was stolen from the Phillipines and Vietnam alone.

    And here’s the big deal:
The Netherlands raided the bank and the Swiss government was dumbfounded. This was an international world court operation of the Hauge… So, the oligarchs that have been thriving from, and controlling humanity just took a serious KO punch in the mouth! They are on the ropes… As the shadow accounts and stolen billion is now seized…!
And I’m quite sure Trump had EVERYTHING to do with it!

            Apr 02, 2017 02:15 PM

            OOTB,
The world court ( the Hauge ) went into Switzerland and seized assets and accounts of Credit Suisse. This is a very big deal! The world court has done nothing for the good of people for many years. It’s because the control of the US military has always been controlled by the shadow government or deep state. And THat has just changed…

            Apr 02, 2017 02:43 PM

Chartster…….This might be the follow through that……Karen Hudes was talking about 3 or 4 years ago……she was in the world court….and talking about all the art, gold, certificates for gold etc. that was stolen in WW2
            Makes a little more sense………..THANK J

            Apr 02, 2017 02:45 PM

We might need to do some more follow up…..on this subject in the next few weeks…jmo

            Apr 02, 2017 02:24 PM

I don’t know much about Karen Hudas. What I do know is, the Netherlands officials raided Credit Suisse without the consent of the Swiss government. That means it’s a world court and international deal.

The shadow or black banking accounts that where found could put a stop to many deep state or shadow government activity. The likes of ISIS funding, Soros and a gaggle of corrupt characters could have been squelched.🍻 Cheers

Money Riots Coming in Next Financial Collapse-James Rickards

Financial expert and four time, best-selling book author James Rickards says there is no avoiding another economic collapse. Every time the economy suffers a setback, such as recently hitting a $20 trillion debt ceiling in the United States Congress, things get a little worse. Rickards explains, “The point of my books, ‘The Death of Money’ and my more recent book ‘The Road to Ruin,’ is that these are like snowflakes building up to cause an avalanche. The avalanche is the instability of the financial system as a whole.

Russia decided to have some fun at the expense of US paranoia.

On Saturday, the ministry posted the following audio file of the “new” automated telephone switchboard message for Russian embassies.

“You have reached the Russian embassy, your call is very important to us.
To arrange a call from a Russian diplomat to your political opponent, press 1.
To use the services of Russian hackers press 2.
To request election interference, press 3 and wait until the next election campaign.
Please note that all calls are recorded for quality improvement and training purposes.”

And just to make it clear, it is April 1: as AP observes for the countless spy agencies, and congressional committees still trying to explain how Moscow subliminally influenced millions of Americans to vote for Trump instead of Hillary, a ministry officer confirmed that the post was a joke.

Kind of convenient Mr. Glen that they happened to have post 9-11 global agenda plans in place BEFORE the New Pearl Harbor event occurred on 9-11. Real convenient to let the bank robbers rob the bank even if you have beforehand knowledge to further your case that your police department needs more money, wants to further an unpopular enforcement agenda, etc. In other words, let the attacks occur then dust off your global plans that have been waiting on the shelves.
