Can the millennials dig their way out of debt and start spending

Cory
May 11, 2017

Rick Ackerman thinks all the markets are lunatic and he remains in the deflationary camp. He outlines why he thinks there is no chance of the US digging its way out of the problem and leaves us all with a question to think about. How are the millennials going to get out of debt and spend enough to keep the system going? Anyone have an answer…

    Bitcoin…..$1750 plus……..

      May 11, 2017 11:19 AM

And some Jerry like $1865. This has got to be tulip mania, yes?

        May 11, 2017 11:25 AM

Just the beginning……but, I think we will see it go higher, then tulip mania sets in, watch for the parabolic move….then look out.

sgtreport, andy hoffman, bix weir ……are just a few who are promoting the heck out of crypto currency block change ….so who knows…..

            May 11, 2017 11:42 AM

Hi Jerry. Hope you are doing well. I think Sean at SGTReport and Andy Hoffman only have a small amount in Bitcoin. So it is not like they are getting rich. Not sure how much Bix Weir has in it.

Hello Miller, …glad to hear from you. Everything is fine, and I hope all is well with you.
I do not think either of the two gents have very much bitcoin…I think Bix is more into junk silver….I am still not interested in bitcoin …but, that may change…….best….Jerry
btw…Do not stay away …always enjoy your comments….

Everybody is all pumped up about crypto currencies. Where were they when Bitcoin pulled back to around 670.00U.S ? Typical herd mentality.

Litecoin and etherium (if ive got that right) are also up.
Has to do with the U.N. deciding to look into using cryptos.
Aside from the obvious that people are choosing cryptos.

Its possible these are ment to take the system cashless by

I got the mention of the UN looking into it at that link.(if it works)

        May 11, 2017 11:28 AM

hard to keep up with all the names……..

          May 11, 2017 11:32 AM

If , the UN is looking into it, it means they want to control it…..and that is the opposite of what the inventors wanted to see. According to Andy H.,and others , the organizers of bitcoin, want to see the elimination of the false fiat currency, and the control of the state rigged system.

            May 11, 2017 11:33 AM

I do see your point of the UN wanting to control , and trace every fiat currency, to tax the heck out of the citizen……

          May 11, 2017 11:34 AM

The revolt has started, …..some just do not see it yet.

I dont think anyone we see/hear/read on these blogs really understand whats happening with cryptos, or alot of things going on for that matter.

Its the “cabal” thats controlling it all, and nobody but them are aware of all the moving parts.
That leaves the rest of us as gambling, guessing what they intend.

I know “aliens” will put people off, but this guy was the head of Canadas defense.
He understands whats happening with our banking,911,isis etc
He understands there are people out there that are attempting to run the entire planet.

He believes they should be stopped.

He has info that is consistent with what we already know but also has info thats not readily available elsewhere.

I have to agree with many of your comments.
The only thing , I might disagree with is the aliens…..

GDX weekly bollinger bands are getting very very tight now. I will admit, if we can close the week lwithout completely collapsing, it is a good sign that we are at least as of today, bouncing off of the lower, rising bollinger band. While bending the lower bollinger band downwards often precedes a reversal higher, that hasn’t typically worked out so well on the GDX weekly chart in the past.

The USD/EUR pair shows a large “through gap” at April 20th to .9280, and also a closing gap on April 21st at .9323. These must be filled — especially the former — before a healthy bottom for PMs is likely.

A good thing will be for those gaps to be filled while the recent lows hold, or they do not break significantly and immediately reverse upward.

Although there is much to support Doc’s reticence, these quiet markets harken back to the May 2005 lows which were followed by increasing acceleration to the 2011 top.

“Da Bottom” may be in — now!

Note the proviso above. The Dollar is now spiking downward without completing necessary upside housecleaning. This PM upside run is now almost certainly just part a swing trade, with another shorting opportunity to come sometime soon.

It is a very good sign that the miners are acting so well while the metals continue to struggle.

Rick is right, the business world is a set of ten pins ready to knock one over as they fell, each employee thrown out of work decreases the potential buying power of the country, AI is killing the jobs market unless you can find a job as a secretary in a church. It’s hard to imagine going to Sunday mass and having a robot read the sermon. DT
