News from Novo, Sabina, and a Yukon Infrastructure Plan

September 5, 2017

David Erfle joins me to discuss some of the bigger news stories for the resource sector today. We start off with the Novo private placement news with Kirkland Lake investing approximately $56 million. Then move to the Sabina news regarding a new discovery hole. Finally there was news out of Canada outlining a significant infrastructure spend in the Yukon. All of this news comes when traders are back to their desks. This is going to be a busy couple months… potentially to the end of the year.

Following a recent block purchase of Novo common shares, Kirkland Lake Gold currently owns approximately 9.2 per cent of the issued and outstanding common shares of Novo. Upon closing of the financing, the company is expected to own approximately 18.2 per cent of Novo’s issued and outstanding common shares and will hold approximately 25.5 per cent on a partially diluted basis, assuming the exercise of the warrants.
