Beware the double forked tongue of Ben Shalom Bernanke and the revolving door from the Fed to the Brookings Institute. (Money Changer path of least resistance)
Next of course to the University system. Soon to be home of Hillary Clinton

Ben the cryptomanic………..hope he gets his whiskers caught in the revolving door…

    Oct 16, 2017 16:53 PM

Just by Bernanke endorsing it, the well informed will avoid it in droves. Same thing as JPM.
The gig is up. It’s just going to take some time to play out.

Ripple has a circulating supply of 38 billion coins, but eventually will have 100 billion, AND if I remember the original ripple.com/blog discussions back in 2014 there was no guarantee that would not be increased, just like any central bank does to fiat.

For the record CFS. I think your approach to the Cryptos makes the most sense.
You will also note that I refer to CFS as the resident Crypto genius and not myself because I know you understand the cryptos better than most. Including myself. That being said I still think Bitcoin will be able to evolve to meet all the challenges that will be presented in the future.
      Just my 2 cents.

Gold drops back below 1300, obviously conclusive proof the most accurate PM analyst ever is correct, Mr Dent.
The positive for gold bugs is that he has raised his projection to $700 from $400.
    This is excellent news.

On the crypto side, Russia is creating their own if people hadnt heard yet.

The blockchain teck (hive) seems to be holding, for people that are a little upset missing bitcoin.
Probly all a big bubble about to pop tho.

As mentioned over the weekend, the blockchain technology will enable new processing of data and secure transactions in a way that many different companies will be able to utilize. The thing is that there are many new blockchain providers or platforms starting up, or businesses utilizing blockchain, but not all of them will work out.

This is completely separate from the discussion on cryptocurrencies, even though many cryptos are utilizing blockchain technology.

It is just an interesting business development in the tech sector to keep tabs on and since hardly anyone wants to discuss mining stocks these days, I figured I’d put up a few articles that caught my eye.

I posted today about Lithium under The Corvus Link from yesterday.
The Lithium majors and some of the top tier companies have been providing consistent gains.
Even some of the smaller explorers have provided stellar gains. Take Rock Tech Lithium up 459%. I really am kicking myself over this one because instead of taking the leader in the hard Rock Explorer,I invested in the second best using my stupid contractor mentality.I really like Lithium here.I think investors have been missing the boat and focusing to much on Gold and Silver.

            Oct 16, 2017 16:01 PM

JohnK – The Lithium Miners were some of my better performing stocks so far in 2017.

I hold Galaxy Resources, Pilbara Minerals, Lithium Americas, and Nemaska Minerals at present and have considered getting back into Orocobre and Neometals.

There are other investors I follow that have won big with AVZ Minerals or Wealth Minerals this year as well.

I trimmed back some of my Lithium stocks recently to be able to redeploy and rebalance some funds into the PMs and Base Metals stocks, but that is the beauty of diversification.

          Nice Shad:
Galaxy has been a good one. For some reason why I don’t know, the turn in the Aussies started around the 1st of September.Altura ALTAF has been steadily climbing since the 1st of September also.
In the Nevada Brine Cypress just did a PP for 1.4 million and the stock gained 42% last week .
I’m watching them and will know more after Friday when I do the recap.
Another one that is getting traction that has exposure to Nevada is Zimtu Capital. Zimtu has shares in many companies and I really don’t know much about them other than they have had three weeks of consistent gains.Last week they gained 19%.
I have your USA in the Zinc space and it has been a solid performer even with the lull in Silver.
For me I mostly follow the drill bit and watch for movement in the stock prior to results.
It’s been hard to watch certain companies make consistent gains and not have the funds to invest.Right now I am working on consistency more so than finding the multi baggers.Sometimes I wonder what I was thinking when I decided to quit my job and do this full time.

            Oct 16, 2017 16:07 PM

Yeah I’ve been watching Altura for a while but some Lithium bugs advised passing on it when I asked them about it, along with Bacanora, Dajin Resources, and International Lithium corp (who now has a JV with that large Asisan consortium Ganfeng). Some of the penny flippers over at ceo.ca have also been animated by MGX Minerals (doing lithium extraction from old oil/gas wells) and NRG metals now aligned with a Chinese chemical company.

One other company I gave serious consideration to was Critical Elements, but it is a bit bloated at this point and some didn’t like their economic study that came out.

It really is crazy because there are over 100 Lithium companies now, although some are already starting to jump ship into yet other commodities. I’ve been a broken record on this the last few years that, in the end, the world doesn’t need 100 or 50 or even 20 Lithium companies. There really is only room for about a dozen and that is why I stuck with the most advanced companies that were on track to make it to production and so far since investing in the space that’s been my focus.

Back in 2012 I was in Talison (the first Lithium only producer) outside of the big 3 before it was taken private and became Greenbrushes in Australia [owned by Tiangqui]. I was actually in Galaxy back in 2012 when they build their state of the art battery plant, which processed Talison’s material, but they had a money pinch, a death right after flicking on the switch, and ended up selling the plant to buy Lithium One instead. Back then I was also in Western Lithium, who became Lithium Americas through merging in the quiet period before the recent surge the last 2 years.

Anyway, I said the producers were real companies and would still be around a few years later we’ve seen Talison, Orocobre, Galaxy, and Neometals/Ganfeng/Mineral Resources all make it to production….. and yep…. they’re still around and thriving. Lithium Americas, Pilbara, and Nemaska are next up to bat and they’ve done great as well. Lithium is a sector where I do want “best of class” because I still feel most of the companies are just marketing fluff.

            Oct 16, 2017 16:10 PM

As for Zinc there are number of companies I like, but yes, USA/USAS is like a hybrid company where as they ramp up San Rafael they are really focused more so on Zinc/Lead this year than the Silver, which makes sense due to how the metals are currently priced and they are saving their higher grade Silver stopes for a year or two out. Still in 2017 their guidance was 2-2.5 million ounces of Silver, and 3 million Silver equivalent ounces from Zinc/Lead/some Copper.

I also haven’t forgotten where their valuation was before the reverse split so they can easily rise 4-10 times from current valuations. I won’t be surprised at all if they are in the double digits 2-3 years out.

October 16, 2017 – Red Eagle Exploration Limited (TSX-V: XR) (“XR”) is pleased to announce its new listing on the OTCQB market where shares began trading on October 12, 2017 under the symbol XRELF.
About Red Eagle Exploration, XR is a precious metals exploration and development corporation majority owned by gold producer Red Eagle Mining Corporation. XR has an experienced exploration and mine development team focused on building shareholder value through acquiring and de-risking high grade gold and silver projects with low costs and low technical risks in Colombia, a jurisdiction with prolific historic production but until recently limited modern exploration. XR owns 100% of the Vetas Gold, California Gold and Santa Ana Silver projects, which consist of numerous historic and existing mines and where exploration is continuing.

            Oct 17, 2017 17:22 AM

I’ve had to average down in Red Eagle Mining since they had fallout a few months back from the new mining method where they are doing paste and fill and had to develop the paste plant. They’ll have things up and running again soon though, and I still believe they have tons of exploration potential on their property, beyond their controlling interest in (XR) Red Eagle Exploration

And so it flies……bye, bye Boeing?
By ROB GILLIES – Associated Press – 1 hour ago
TORONTO (AP) — Canadian plane maker Bombardier announced Monday it has sold a majority stake in its C Series passenger jet business to European aerospace giant Airbus for no cost. (???????)
The move comes after lackluster sales and after the U.S. Commerce Department imposed harsh duties on Bombardier, charging the Canadian company is selling the C Series planes in America below cost and receiving government subsidies.
The Commerce department recently announced it would impose an 80 percent duty comes on top of duties of nearly 220 percent. The case has been a win for U.S.-based rival Boeing.
Boeing has said it didn’t moved early enough against Airbus subsidies in the 1970s. Airbus is now is a global giant.
The move by Bombardier could possibly circumvent duties being imposed on the C Series. The C Series headquarters will remain in the Montreal area but a second assembly line for the 100- to 150-seat plane will be set up at Airbus’ facility in Mobil, Alabama, so the plane can be sold in the United States.

Airbus Chief Executive Office Tom Enders said an aircraft produced at an U.S. Airbus facility would not be subject to duties under the pending U.S. investigation.

An activist who helped organize the Women’s March on Washington has accused an American Airlines pilot of racial discrimination in kicking her off a flight.
In a series of tweets and a Facebook Live post, Tamika Mallory said that a pilot had her removed from a Sunday flight from Miami to New York after she had a dispute with another airline employee over her seat assignment.
“Only reason this pilot got involved was to assert his white male power over who he thought was just some uppity black girl,” Mallory tweeted.

At least she was not dragged off by her hair!
Perhaps the Airline was fed up with her bitching, as it might be with a white person complaining about seat assignment.
