According to all international law, when an aggressor starts a war, when it ends, they must vacate all occupied terrority. Jerusalem is occupied territory.

Robert, The Nazi-Soviet pact was signed in August 1939. In Sept. the Nazis and Russians attacked Poland from the east and west. The Russians stole a large chunk of eastern Poland. When the war was over they never returned the land to Poland as UN resolution 242 requires. This was much more territory than is in all of Israel. Perhaps when the UN requires Russia to return the Polish land they stole in 1939 then they will take up jerusalem and Judea problem First things first.

Have you ever heard of ex post facto laws? You can’t pass a law trying to change the past. UN Resolution 242 was passed in 1967 and had to do only with the illegal aggression of Israel in June of 1967. How on earth could you conclude it would apply to Russia for actions during WW II.
It no more applies to Russia than it does to the US stealing land from the Indians.

Here are some facts and questions.
It is a fact that the City of David (Jerusalem) was the historical capital of Judea.
Judea was conquered several times by Romans, by Muslims, etc.
Question:
Did the Muslims make Jerusalem an important religious site because they wanted to eliminate Judaism, or Christianity or for other reasons?
That site was a Christian and a Jewish religious site long before Mohammed was even born.
Do you think that if Muslims were in charge of Jerusalem, they would permit Christians or Jews to ever hold religious ceremonies there?
During the many centuries the Muslims did control Palestine, yes, they did allow both Christians and Jews to hold religious ceremonies and to have churches.
How many active Jewish temples or christian churches are there in Iran or Saudi Arabia, the two muslim powers?
There used to be many jewish and Christian places of worship in Arabia before Mohammed. There are not any now, and anyone seen wearing a cross or David star will be arrested.
You can’t even get into Arabia if you are jewish or if you are a Christian and have an Israeli stamp in your passport. Coke can’t sell in Arabia because they sell Coke in Israel. Pepsi is allowed to do business in Arabia because they don’t sell to Israel. At least that’s the way it was when I was in Arabia in 1978.

You are really a hoot today. Israel wants the Jews living in Iran who worship freely to move to Israel and they refuse because Iran is their home and they are welcome there. I get a kick out of people like Dr. Ullman that keep trying to make something out of nothing by saying how Trump is feeling the “noose” tightening. On what basis? Just because Mueller is trying to follow the money and hopes he can find something. Maybe he’ll get something to try to make something out of nothing again.. So far the only evidence of collusion with the Russians has been the Hillary camp and nothing has been done about that—-probably because the FBI (along with some of the CIA) had been politicized (along with the IRS I might add) by the democratic party. Of course none of the fellows under Mueller are neutral —they’re all fine people that believe in justice and putting their biases aside. NOT! I think we’ll ultimately get more out of the investigations carried on by congress then anything the dishonorable Mueller and his henchmen will accomplish. Mueller, his proteges, and Comey represent a lot of what’s wrong with our government today.

You got that right. I’m not worried since I’ve known that since my 30s—and I’m a lot older now. They could hide it back then but now it’s so obvious even a democratic lefty and partisan with their half-a-brain can realize it. Of course, admission of that fact is another matter. Our 4th estate is a propaganda mill for the government, the establishment, the democratic party, and the left. It’s been that way for years. The emergence of the internet and cable along with alternative media and news has uncovered the covert activity of the MSM into the overt monster it has always been. Trump sure has hastened that realization along with his calling out of “fake news” along with obvious consistent examples. I might add that I personally didn’t think Trump’s decision as regards Jerusalem was the right thing to do, however, I believe there’s more to this then just satisfying his base which is simplistic—It might keep a few Jews happy and evangelicals happy but most of his supporters could care less. We’ll see what comes out of it. Trump has been communicating with Abbas and I have a feeling that it might be leverage in the hope for a Mideast peace accord. CFS in his first post makes a good point about the care Trump put into his statement on this issue (which is unusual for Trump).

Let me add one further fact.
The recent excavations on the Temple mount have uncovered megalith block walls and structures which almost certainly pre-date Judaism. These megalith blocks probably date to an earlier, little examined earlier civilization (pre 10,000 CE) that was substantially wiped out about 11,500 years ago. Interestingly, the UK Government bought three locations in West Jerusalem back in the 1990s, suitable for Embassy buildings. I suspect they will sell one of these locations to provide funding for a British embassy.
