Balmoral Resources – Maiden Gold Resource Expected Shortly
I have received a number of email and comments asking for an interview with Balmoral Resources. In conjunction with the Junior Mining Network here it is!
I chatted with Balmoral Resources President and CEO Darrin Wagner to get a comprehensive overview of the Company. We focus on the Martiniere Gold Project and the upcoming maiden resource that is expected in Q1 of this year. The Company also holds the Grasset Nickel-Copper-PGE deposit which holds the largest nickle deposit in the Abitibi.

I have been in and out of Balmoral several times-this time I got caught up in the drill results and misjudged the market. Darrin Wagner has stuck to his knitting over the past seven years and has made significant progress. I eagerly await the maiden resource which I think will be similar to the PEA that was released for the Brucejack project in BC. When I say similar there was an original plan to execute an open pit and an underground scenario in order to exploit the deposits on the Brucejack claims. It appears that there could be something similar at Martinere.
The Martinere discovery has width and strike length that should produce a deposit size of interest to a major. If they can peddle the Grasset Nickel property the company may acquire enough funds to go it alone at Martinere. I will sit and wait for the next news release.
