Jordan Roy-Byrne, Founder of The Daily Gold posted a great article outlining why he thinks gold could breakout in 2018. The link to the full post in below. In the interview we focus on the potential of inflation and how long term bonds play a roll in telling us. Also how historical recoveries seem to repeat themselves.

Anyone else use td for trading??? I’m so frustrated/ticked. Site hasn’t been working all morning. Surprise surprise phone lines are extremely busy and pots are tumbling on reports of US crackdown on pots chatter

Unfortunate. Sessions is a neanderthal on the topic.

Criminalizing a victimless activity is a crime.

Denying people access to medicinal use of cannabis is a crime.

The Feds have no constitutional right to interfere with the states’ will on this matter.

And Sessions calls himself a conservative?

            Hello Bonzo,
INot sure you saw it but I posted a follow-up comment on last week week-end show re: your browser issues.

Hi LPG, i tried downloading some old Firefox from 48 back to 44 and my iMac could not take them.
Did you have another idea? Thanks.

            LPG says:
            Bonzo,

Happy 2018 to you as well.
Not sure which OS you use for your imac, but FWIW, I use 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard).
For Firefox, I use version 48.0.2

What I suggest is you try to dowload an old version of Firefox.
–> You can google “old version of firefox for Mac” or pick up something directly from the following link (fwiw, I’ve used this site for getting old versions of other softwares in the past):
            https://firefox.en.uptodown.com/mac/old
Guess you should find a version old enough that “mitigates” your current “pain”. 🙂
            Best,

            Bonzo,
            Sorry to read about this.
I don’t wanna clog the KER threads but I wanna try to assist you.
I suggest you send an email to Cory asking my email address and send me an email. We’ll take it from there and hopefully we’ll find a way around.
            Best,

LPG, my iMac is an OS X version 10.5.8 My browser won’t let me see any of Matthew’s charts from Stockcharts, or anything on Kitco or Kingworldnews, or TCM.com, and many other sites. Hotmail gave me so much trouble I moved to yahoo and gmail.
I’ll see if Cory will give me your email address and hope you can help me download a newer browser while I can still get kereport.com Merci.

If all that fails, consider a Falcon! Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and many other large entities like Cisco Systems and the CDC use them. They’re ruggedly built, reliable and very fast. I got Dell 24″ UltraSharp monitors to go with mine and they’re also hard to beat.

No, I do not stand to gain a cent for my endorsement — directly or indirectly.

            Jan 04, 2018 04:24 PM

Thanks, Matthew. I’d rather update my browser if possible rather than buy a new computer. And I don’t know if I could operate anything other than an iMac. I am much more competent on my Taylor 810 guitar.

+1 GH. Where’s the State’s Rights argument with the AG?

            Jan 04, 2018 04:06 AM

          Sessions is strange.
Hyper-pro-law-and-order, but turns a blind eye to Clinton crimes and other political crimes and banking crimes.

            Jan 04, 2018 04:32 AM

I suspect the Deep State has something to blackmail Sessions with, Justice Roberts as well.

      Working fine now Wolf.
A quick trader made coin with pot today already.
      with acb $1 per share.

Huge risk with trading is the net, banks and brokers themselves which is why whenever I take a win I take it out.

“Little selling power left…” Great comment to remember.
On ‘inflation’: If we’re talking about prices of everyday things and not additions to the money supply, it’s certainly evident where I live. Groceries especially. Beer most of all this year. Most craft up to $8 per six pack. Bud/Coors (which are supposedly losing market share still $21.50 for 30 cans. Housing is still going rampant. Multifamily growing leaps and bounds. Fastest growing state by percentage population and you can see it in housing and traffic.
    Good listen, Cory. Thanks

Of course there is Inflation, and has been all along……….

The weed area is getting dangerous as the stocks fell hard again today. I bought more with stink bids and sold out for a big gain again getting out too early on the bounce just to be safe. Everyone is in now and not worth holding these except for a quick trade. Made over 12k this week on weed and acb. These big 18% down days could result in a 50% drop in this sector.
The TD waterhouse system has been crashing this week making it very stressful. It works fine when the market is closed and then jams.

      Potstocks have always been volatile.
Months ago I suggested the sector is a goldmine for day traders.
Its volatile as heck, but look at the trend, its my friend. lol

The bull really does try to shake ya off, except when ya know they ALL will sell 100% of their recreational “gardens”….well, if ya know anything about retail sales, thats a pretty tasty thing.

If ya wanna do a DD, check how long it takes to get licensed, count up ALL sales in Canada and compare to ALL growers.

Then check the growers that have made deals to sell in other countries.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (AP) — Westinghouse Electric, the U.S. nuclear unit of embattled Japanese electronics giant Toshiba, has been acquired in a deal valued at about out $4.6 billion.

Westinghouse Electric Co. declared bankruptcy protection early last year, leaving a number of nuclear projects in limbo.

The acquisition by Brookfield Business Partners LP on Thursday comes one day after an agreement tying up loose ends from two failed nuclear reactors in South Carolina.

South Carolina Electric & Gas Co. abandoned construction reactors at the V.C. Summer Nuclear Station. Thousands were left jobless in the wake of the $9 billion failure, which was blamed by owners on the plight of Westinghouse, the lead contractor. A deal proposed Wednesday could mean $1.3 billion in refunds for utility customers affected by the failed project.

The nuclear industry has struggled both because of the tremendous cost of building massive reactors and the accelerating shift to other forms of energy like natural gas and alternative energy, like solar. The industry, and Toshiba in particular, has been subjected tighter regulatory control following the 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster in northeastern Japan.

Toshiba has been dumping assets to cover for its disastrous immersion into nuclear power, a play it saw once as a safe infrastructure investment, free of the seasonal fluctuations of the power generation industry.

Technology in both fracking, a form of drilling, and alternative energy, has upended the power sector.

Westinghouse said Thursday that the deal with Brookfield doesn’t involve cash, but includes the assumption of a number of pension, environmental and operating obligations.

The agreement, pending the approval of bankruptcy court, is expected to close in the third quarter.

Matthew, it’s a good mine with a good chance of growing reserves, and very low costs of production, but an angry union in a dangerous part of Mexico has blocked access to the mine. Who knows how long this will go on? Think I’d rather buy JAG or NSRPF.

          Jan 04, 2018 04:55 PM

Bonzo, for many reasons, I would also rather own Jag but the union b.s. represents opportunity in my book. In other words, the dirtballs will not be allowed to kill the golden goose.
I remember when the Casey crew put a SELL on Fortuna roughly ten years ago out of similar concerns — it was about 80 or 90 cents at the time and their call marked a major low. I did not sell.

Sessions’ latest gambit plays right into the hands of those who make a profit by jailing Americans.

Sharnalle Mitchell was one such victim of a system for whom the plight of the average American is measured in dollars and cents. As the Harvard Law Review recounts:

On January 26, 2014, Sharnalle Mitchell was with her children in Montgomery, Alabama when police showed up at her home to arrest her. Mitchell was not accused of a crime. Instead, the police came to her home because she had not fully paid a traffic ticket from 2010. The single mother was handcuffed in front of her children (aged one and four) and taken to jail. She was ordered to either pay $2,800 or sit her debt out in jail at a rate of fifty dollars a day for fifty-nine days. Unable to pay, Mitchell wrote out the numbers one to fifty-eight on the back of her court documents and began counting days.

    Jan 04, 2018 04:13 PM

Sounds like an everyday bench warrant for failure to appear in court and/or pay court ordered money. $2800 sounds like could be a DUI without more info. In any event, when you violate a court order, they don’t send you flowers. When police encounter young children in the home they contact relatives or friends of the defendant to care for them or the Department of Human Services to care for them. Failure to pay is normally a short term situation whereby the court attempts to determine why the defendant refuses to obey the court order.

    Jan 04, 2018 04:22 PM

If Sessions roles back any legislation that will legalize marijuana, Canada and Mexico will make a killing just like we did during prohibition. How many agents does The US government think it will take to enforce the prohibition of marijuana, ten million couldn’t stop the trafficking, wake up America.DT

    Jan 04, 2018 04:49 PM

Sounds like all Sessions is doing is saying it is a State issue. Maybe I am wrong. More important things for Justice to do like massive corruption.
