There’s nothing wrong with surveillance of suspected terrorists. There is a lot wrong with total surveillance of political opposition.
To say that surveillance issues are relatively new is total BS. We all know what is right, what is wrong, and where the gray areas are. The FISA court and other courts are there to aid with decisions in the gray areas.
Many of the leadership in the FBI, CIA have gone rogue, and politicized this issue.
Heads NEED to be taken off with prison terms.

Will The Conspiracy Against Trump and American Democracy Go Unpunished?

Dear Readers: This is one of the most important articles I have written, along with this one: /2018/02/02/nuclear-posture-review/.

If the Russia gate conspiracy against Trump and American democracy goes unpunished,

accountable government in the United States will cease to exist.

US security agencies have long been involved in coups against foreign governments.

Now they are involved in one against America.

There is great danger that Republicans are so worshipful of “national security” and so determined to protect the reputation of the US government that they will give a pass to the high officials who participated in a conspiracy against the United States.

As for President Trump, he lacks a government that he can count on and is threatened by the military/security complex.

The conspiracy could easily be whitewashed as merely a case of the FBI and D OJ not following proper procedures, with the media’s participation in the conspiracy being dismissed with m ea cu l p as of “sloppy reporting.”

Al, maybe ask your friend what he thinks of this P C R article.

Since we have a 9-11 expert available, I can’t help but ask a question or two. How did they take down building 7 at free fall speed? Did they use C-4 in conjunction with nano thermite? Also, where was the cruise missile that hit the pentagon launched from?

The current situation regarding the treasonous actions of many: Devin Nunez is telling the true and Adam Schiff works for a foreign entity! Adam Schiff sister Mellisa is married to Robert Soros, George Soros’s son. George for these fine folks that happen to be dumping a whole lot of real estate at the moment.

No cruise missile hit the pentagon. Over one hundred witnesses saw a plane. There have been no witnesses that saw any missiles on 9/11. Tens of thousands of witnesses saw planes that day.

        Feb 06, 2018 06:22 PM

        Great, show us a picture.

          Feb 06, 2018 06:39 PM

And where is your pictures of a cruise missle?

Where were the holes in the building from the jet engines?

        Feb 06, 2018 06:23 PM

Planes in NY, yes. In DC, no.

I thought i read something about the missile being spotted on a gas station security camera.
I guess if there was it was long ago destroyed now.
There was no plane wreckage either.

Al, we all have opinions, but Mr. Sipher’s Politico report and opinion on smearing Steele is manipulative and total BS. Steele shopped the “raw intel” and summary to the press – he worked on contract with the Clinton campaign. If Mr. Sipher did the same in his job at CIA, he would be fired, then imprisoned.

      CFS
      Feb 06, 2018 06:37 PM

Steele was paid $900K for unverified slanderous information on Trump which turned out to be false.
How is it possible to smear a paid scumbag?

    Feb 06, 2018 06:15 PM

And politics are not always balanced – RESIST or MAGA? Which is for a stronger nation, which is for tearing it down?

    Feb 06, 2018 06:28 PM

    Great question, Jim.
The more they resist, the more they expose them selves, the more they expose them selves, the deeper hole they dig. And they are in way deep already..

What was the supposed crime involved in obtaining FISA warrants?

In my opinion not only were the actions of the FBI an assault on the Constitution, specifically 4th amendment rights, extremely detrimental, but the long term consequences of this fiasco are much worse.

During the election process and debates it seemed to me that the relations between the US and Russia were improving.
This surveillance and the three attempts on entrapment of Trump’s advisers to embroil them in false association with the Russians has set back the possibility of future good relations with Russia for many years.
I personally don’t trust or like Putin, but I recognize the world would be a safer place if Russia is not driven to be more friendly with China and if the US and Russia could develop a reasonable rapport.

Now because of a possible claim from the Democrats of “see I told you Trump and Russia were in collusion”, Trump is now not so able to build better relationships with the Russians. I feel this has set back foreign policy considerably.
Realizing that China is in the ascendency as a global power, it is necessary even more for the US to build alliances with other major powers and not have to face a Sino-Russian alliance.

Hillary and the DNC have a lot to answer for in financing the fraudulent Christopher Steele Dossier and setting back US foreign relations.
Clinton for her Bogus Foundation charity tax-evasion scheme and theft of funds intended for Haiti needs to spend the rest of her life in jail.

    Feb 06, 2018 06:48 PM

    Al:

You told Andrew that Bush authorized surveillance of suspected terrorists after 911 and that is simply not true. Bush authorized surveillance on everyone in the US after 911 and it has been admitted and was and is the end of the 4th Amendment. This isn’t a war on terror, this is a war on the American people. Andrew got it and he said flat out, if you surveil everyone, the terrorists win. Bush and Obama trampled the Bill of Rights and those rights not longer exist.

And the terrorists won. Every officer of every agency takes an oath of office where they pledge to protect and defend, not the country, but the Constitution. And clearly the danger to the US is not external and never was.

Part of that oath says, “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”

Now what do you think the framers of the Constitution meant by “domestic” (enemies)?

Just like the TSA…has nothing to do with stopping tarrists..as Bushie called ’em…it’s to scare the shiite outta the sheeple, make them think the gooberment is protecting them and to condition the sheeple and keep them in line. After all, if the American people will let the gooberment molest them and their kids at airports what won’t the sheeple let their gooberment do to them. Ask yourself who benefited from 9/11? Clearly the gooberment as it was able to grab vastly more power and money from the American sheeple.

And here’s a great interview with the legendary Jimmy B.

I was watching TV with a Finnish guy in 2001 the day the Department of Homeland Security was announced. He turned to me and in a great Finnish accent said, ‘Sounds like a police state to me.’

Some folks get it, some don’t.
