Cory
May 2, 2018

Just over an hour ago Maple Gold Mines (TSX.V:MGM & OTCQB:MGMLF) was halted due to some very nice assay results that were just released. Headline numbers include 158.2m @ 1.25 g/t, including 52 meters @ 3.53 g/t. Most importantly this drill hole was outside of the current known resource area. Matthew Horner, President and CEO joins me today to share the significance of the news today.

Hi Cory,do you think this is starting to look like the beginings of a Canadian Malartic??
Also, on another site, Matthew was quoted as saying there already in advanced stages with strategic partners. If you have a minute I would like to hear your thoughts on those two points
Thanks again for all your hard work!!

      Hey Scott,

You draw an interesting comparison with the Canadian Malartic Mine. These new drill results now bring the potential grade much closer (actually over) the average grade of Malartic, which is 1.1g/t. This is just one hole but if Matthew and his team can follow up with some more grades of over 1g/t then this question will be asked much more. It is too early to say much more.

As for strategic partnerships it would not surprise me if some majors were kicking the tires. There is already a significant resource and as the Company moves further along the “super pit” strategy it will cost quite a bit to build the mine. Much like Malartic it might be a couple majors that enter the picture but as for now Maple Gold has money so doubt they are in a rush.

I am very excited about this Company especially after these drill results. Remember I am a shareholder!

Thanks again for your questions and please keep them coming.
