    There is no shortage of progressives who want both a $15 minimum wage and unlimited immigration.

    Welfare Use by Immigrant and Native Households

    So that alone is a major economic impact. More generally, it is the cultural marxist agenda, combined with the bankster’s shenanigans, that is destroying family stability. The cost is incalculable, but astronomic.

      One more:

      https://www.heritage.org/immigration/commentary/what-the-media-wont-tell-you-about-illegal-immigration-and-criminal-activity

      “the Government Accountability Office released two unsettling reports in 2005 on criminal aliens who are in prison for committing crimes in the United States…

      The first report (GAO-05-337R) found that criminal aliens (both legal and illegal) make up 27 percent of all federal prisoners. Yet…non-citizens are only about nine percent of the nation’s adult population. Thus, judging by the numbers in federal prisons alone, non-citizens commit federal crimes at three times the rate of citizens. [actually, about 3.75x]

      The findings in the second report (GAO-05-646R) are even more disturbing. This report looked at the criminal histories of 55,322 aliens that “entered the country illegally and were still illegally in the country at the time of their incarceration in federal or state prison or local jail during fiscal year 2003.” Those 55,322 illegal aliens had been arrested 459,614 times, an average of 8.3 arrests per illegal alien, and had committed almost 700,000 criminal offenses, an average of roughly 12.7 offenses per illegal alien.”

    Good interview, Al.

    One aspect of the matter you guys didn’t get to is the curious fact that the Bolshevik Revolution, as well as the failed attempt in 1905, was financed by Jacob Schiff. See, e.g. Anthony Sutton.

    Crony fiat currency capitalism and Communism were created by the same crowd. You might ask him his view on that next time you chat.

    One theory: It’s a Hegelian dialectic designed to herd the goyim toward fulfillment of the prophecy of the chosen people.

      Regarding Carter:

      ” Yet, since the fall of 1973, Carter had been associated with David Rockefeller and other members of an international power elite through his association with the Trilateral Commission, one of Rockefeller’s many policy-making organizations…this side of Carter’s background was almost totally ignored by the mass media… many members of his administration have been drawn from the membership rolls of the TLC. These include: Cyrus Vance, Secretary of State; Brzezinski, National Security Adviser; W. Michael Blumenthal, Secretary of Treasury; Harold Brown, Secretary for East Asian and Pacific Affairs; Warren Christopher, Deputy Secretary of State; Richard N. Cooper, Under Secretary of State for Economic Affairs; Andrew Young, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations; and C. Fred Bergsten, Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for International Economic Affairs. Carter’s personal choice for vice president, Walter Mondale, is also .a member of the TLC.”

      It would appear that leading ‘capitalists’ are globalists who have done much to advance communism/socialism.

        Patrick Wood, author of Trilaterals Over Washington, points out there are only 87 members of the Trilateral Commission who live in America. Obama appointed eleven of them to posts in his administration.

        For example:

        * Tim Geithner, Treasury Secretary

        * James Jones, National Security Advisor

        * Paul Volker, Chairman, Economic Recovery Committee

        * Dennis Blair, Director of National Intelligence

        Several other noteworthy Trilateral members:

        * George H W Bush

        * Bill Clinton

        * Dick Cheney

        * Al Gore

    What happens when a liberal/progressive society encounters a hostile, highly organized tribe that wages no-holds-barred warfare? (the tribal looking ones are the liberals)

      Very premature, in my opinion.

      Why the rush? It’s like giving a writer the Nobel for hitting the best-seller list, rather than for a lifetime of literary accomplishment.

      Let’s wait until his presidency is over, and can be properly assessed.

      N Korea does seem very promising, and it seems to me that Trump deserves some credit for it. I also appreciate that his strike in Syria was a face saving gesture and no more.

      But it’s still to early to know if he will deserve the prize or not.

      Personally, I have no respect for a prize that has been awarded to Kissinger and Obama. It’s just a political propaganda pageant.

    The one point I disagree with is that is that somehow a foreign state actor is driving people in the US towards Communism. How is that so? The Chinese are Communist in name only, the Russians are certainly not Communist, NK is not Communist it’s just a dictatorship. So any Communist movement in the US must be internally generated. I find it slightly odd that outside actors are being blamed for an internal problem. I hope you understand what I am getting at. For me personally, I’m a Libertarian so I hate Communism.

    I understand and happen to agree with you Nigel. Thanks for the comment.

    Pentagon orders stores to ban certain Chinese phones amid spying

    The Pentagon has ordered all stores on U.S. military bases worldwide to ban mobile phones and other telecommunications equipment made by the Chinese companies Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. and ZTE Corp. after senior U.S. intelligence officials warned the phones could be used to spy on Americans and U.S. service members.

    The products were removed from exchange service stores and exchange concessionaires worldwide following warnings from top U.S. intelligence officials and lawmakers that Chinese mobile phones could track movements of the military.

    In a statement, the Pentagon said, “Huawei and ZTE devices may pose an unacceptable risk to the Department’s personnel, information and mission. In light of this information, it was not prudent for the Department’s stores to continue selling them.”
