We only had a binary choice.
I am so thankful we do not have that crook Hillary as President.

      Dec 15, 2018 15:12 AM

I completely agree, CFS. I AM SIMPLY DISAPPOINTED WITH Trump

      Dec 15, 2018 15:32 PM

      Amen to that.

Big Al doesn’t get out much anymore when it comes to Trump. 92% of media stories are negative. He let the idiots working with the Deep State help him select the players they needed to thwart his goals. They did get rid of a lot of regulations to stimulate growth.

If the Dem’s and Rhino’s were not so corrupt, MAGA would have been a piece of cake.

They are more concerned with spending Hundreds of Billions on illegal’s crossing the border than U.S citizens. They are turning the country into a third world sh-t hole.

        Dec 16, 2018 16:30 PM

        Markedtofuture,

I actually do get out a lot when it comes to Trump. I have spent a lot of time today (Not watching my beloved Seahawks but reading articles concerning him in the Epoch Times’

I would not agree that our country has reach the position of a third world sh-t hole.

My basic problem with Trump right now is that America is prime for positive change and he is simply too divisive to accomplish that because he seems to truly believe he is the “prettiest baby in the nursery and negating that all countries have a lot of “pretty babies”.

How do you get China to change without using tariffs?

Trump is free-trader. Tariffs are only a means to an end.

The stock market is over priced, it is only mean-reverting. That was going to happen sooner or later, anyway.

We do not have either party, Republican or Democrat, wishing to limit spending.

hen did Cohen make pay offs for Trump?
Was it not even before Trump was a condidate?
Do you believe anything Cohen says? Is he now against Trump in order to minimize his jail time?
Remember it was Strzok involved in Flynn and Cohen questioning…..How quickly you have forgotten!
    I agree with Dan Pisenti.

      Dec 15, 2018 15:31 AM

Tariffs: according to CPA tariffs are working

Stock Market: I agree with you, My point is when it actually dramatically declines there is a good chance we could have some serious confidence issues and general turmoil. Similarity to France is not out of the question given the psychological make up today of Amivans.

Cohen: He is not a good person and Trumps close association to him tells me something about Trump.

Dan Pisenti: Of course I also agree with him but that doesn’t mean I have to have admiration and respect for Trump.

        Dec 16, 2018 16:26 AM

Mr. Korelin, thanks for having Dan Pisenti on the show. It’s always nice to hear a person with common sense, living where he lives. Let his Angels keep him and his family safe down there.

          Dec 16, 2018 16:34 PM

Dan, Dan’s father Ed, and the rest of the Pisenti family are all very intelligent, deep thinkers. I usually agree with post of their political thoughts.

          Dec 16, 2018 16:11 PM

I would bet that he pays little attention to all the negative issues as he is way above all of them.

            Dec 16, 2018 16:33 PM

That’s what I got from the interview, he goes back to the constitution. And who supports it. Doesn’t matter if your pink, purple, blue, red, or yellow. That’s our foundation as a country.

    Dec 15, 2018 15:57 AM

I note that Pelosi stated in a press conference that she would shut down the government forever rather than fund the wall.
Since about 80% of the government does not actually shut down, during a shut down, and since Trump will have the Army Corps of Engineers build the wall, I wonder if a so-called government shutdown might not actually be a good way to cut government spending!

I just wonder how long President Trump could withstand the negative press.
The media is a problem for him and the country as a whole anyway, and Trump is going to get negative press whatever he does.

      Dec 15, 2018 15:38 AM

The Wall is an irrational idea.

Regarding the press,it has pretty deep pockets and a readership that it validates.

People give China way to much credit. From 2000-2018 their debt has gone from two trillion to forty trillion.20% of all their edifices are empty. Only 7% of their land is fit for agriculture.China has to import mass amounts of foodstuffs. Pure and simple the Agriculture Biotech industry has enabled this to happen in China.

One of the Bushes that doesn’t get much press,Marvin has benefited nicely from the U.S China policy. The “White Tigers” Chinese mob bought their way into U.S Policy through campaign contributions. For the first time in history, US 1Yr Treasuries are market priced as riskier than similar Chinese sovereign debt.
Do you think that might be the reason Donald Trump is “not at all happy with the Fed” and will continue to be frustrated by the world’s No. 2 economy.
He is the first president to suffer the new normal of China becoming more creditworthy than the U.S. That’s right: America now pays more to borrow money than China does.

Right or wrong. Interest rates should be considered relative to other countriesas well as in context to the stage of the economy.
The whole world is borrowing too much.
The whole world is borrowing from the future.
I worry for future generations, as this will not end well.

At best, we are doomed to years or generations of slow growth on diminished capital, because we have consumed our seed corn.
At worst, scum politicians will use war to distract the public from their corruption and theft.

            Dec 15, 2018 15:44 AM

Scum Politicians? Do you mean like the wealthiest man in the U.S Senate. The one who acquired his wealth from his Chinese father in Law as a gift. You know the one who got busted with a ship full of cocaine. The one who’s wife doesn’t even use his last name? I’ll stop.

More like stealing from the future generation…….assigning poverty for your family.

Trump has actually inherited quite a bit of garbage from prior presidents. I still maintain that his personality does not suite the job.

      Dec 16, 2018 16:05 PM

Snowbird, I really appreciate your participation. I did not realize that Nixon ever said We have created a Frankenstein. What was he referring to exactly?

    Dec 15, 2018 15:43 AM

Big Al, I think the response of Joe DiGenova on the Laura Ingram show, found on youtube, gives a very cogent argument on the subject of Trump and Cohen and what you have been discussing. I think it would be worthwhile for you and others to listen to this interview to get a perspective not often talked about.

I agree with you Al about how we should have better moral leaders in the country, but seeing how the country at large is descending into a culture I no longer recognize, we may be seeing the results of the downtrend.

I look at the scriptures and see where Cyrus the Persian for example, was given power over the nations in the area that he might be raised up to be a shepherd of Israel and allow them to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple. It is clearly noted that God governs in the affairs of men for his own purposes. I do not know with any great detail what the Lord is doing and who he is using to affect the affairs of men in this instance, but could it be possible that he may use a Trump to shake up the deep state and the headlong run to socialism championed by the left to spare the nation from such a result Clinton would have surely given us? I can’t say, but perhaps Trump is just the disrupter we need in the country at this time to awaken a sleeping people to their responsibility in citizenship.

I too have no great respect for the man as an individual based on his behaviors, and his communication style, but he was voted in by the people, hoping for a better America. I believe that the better America the voters hoped for can only be built by one person, by one family, and by one community at a time from the ground up, with the moral values that made the country great in the first place. I still hope for that day.

      Dec 15, 2018 15:00 AM

I happen to agree strongly with most of what you are saying in your comment. God bless you.

    Dec 15, 2018 15:46 AM

Big Al, the youtube interview was under this heading: Joe diGenova Reacts to Michael Cohen’s Sentencing

    Dec 15, 2018 15:57 AM

Big Al, sorry to interrupt again, but to add to what I said above, it was noted by Benjamin Franklin during the constitutional convention, when all seemed to be in danger of collapsing, that the delegates had not petitioned the “Father of Lights” for direction. His observation then is true today, we need to petition the Lord for guidance on how we exercise our citizenship.

I particularly remember his assertion that coincides with my remarks above, when he stated “I have lived, Sir, a long time, and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth- that God Governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable that a great nation can rise without his aid?”

I agree with Franklin on this.

The vilification of Hillary was the biggest “success” for the Republicans during the 2016 election. Benghazi and the private email server controversies were actually no big deal and Big Al should consider revisiting those topic for what they really were.

      Dec 15, 2018 15:19 AM

Donnie M.: As absurd as it sounds their is actually a lot of truth in your comment.
They still haven’t released all the documents with the JFK assassination.Compared to an assassination of a sitting President,Hillary’s E-mail are little more than a pimple on a fleas ass.

      Dec 15, 2018 15:33 AM

      Hello Donnie Moder,

I personally disagree with you in one sense. Some of Trump’s comments during the debates were very rude and certainly not appropriate given the fact that they were coming from a candidate for the office of President of our country.

Where I disagree is a personal issue. I made up my mind about Hillary based on all the baggage that Bill is carrying and that she is putting up with.

      Dec 15, 2018 15:13 PM

Hillary is horrible for too many reasons to count. There’s way too much self-censorship among otherwise smart people.

Donnie Moder, Benghazi, was “no big deal”
But according to an email from Hillary to Chelsea, Hillary KNEW it was a terrorist attack from the get go….But Hillary repeated lied, blaming it on a film, for which the creator then got jail time.
People died at Benghazi needlessly. I don’t blame Hillary for that. That was the Traitor obama’s fault.

      CFS
      Dec 15, 2018 15:20 PM

Donnie Moder, Insecure email server was “no big deal”
It allowed the crook Hillary to escape FOIA requests.
It allowed her to receive hundreds of billions of dollars in payments for favors.
It allowed Russia to buy 20% of US uranium, a strategic material we have to IMPORT.
(Which powers our aircraft carriers and submarines, for which there is no alternative, as well as some electrical generation.)
The insecure server was hacked by ar least 6 foreign powers, allowing them to know “secure” (NOT) details of international negotiations, and confidential data transmitted between obama and Hillary and between Hillary and the State Department, and you don’t think that had any consequences.
Do you not know over 20 US spies were killed by Russia and China, and many more had their covers blown?

Donnie Moder, just how naive or ill-informed are you?

      GH
      Dec 16, 2018 16:25 AM

      Benghazi was bad enough.

But it pales in comparison to the destruction of Libya, for which Hillary holds a lot of blame.

Or is mass slaughter of innocents and driving a country into the hands of barbaric fanatics just fine, Mr. Moder?

As for the email crime, somehow most seem to miss the obvious–it is a grave crime because it enables concealing other crimes. If you don’t think that destroying accountability of politicians is a grave crime, you’re lost in the woods.

JFK assassination–a chapter in a long saga, of which the Clintons are also protagonists, serving the same interests that killed JFK.

        Dec 16, 2018 16:23 PM

I think that a correlation between the assassination and the Clinton’s is really stretching it. You are talking about a lot of years before their serious entrance into politics and that tragic event.

          GH
          Dec 17, 2018 17:35 PM

Al, you and I simply do not agree about basic reality. You think we have some semblance of a ‘functional, democratic’ political system and media. I do not.

To me, you are a believer in the reality of the shadows cast on the wall of the cave.

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allegory_of_the_Cave

Clintons work for the same mafia behind JFKs death. That assassination, if it happned in any other country, would be an obvious coup d’etat to even the most boneheaded American. When did the ruling clique that took power in that coup lose power, Al?

Your continuing support for GHW Bush implies one of two things: 1) you are a fan of the Kuhn Loeb / Schiff/ Rothschild crowd that usurped monetary control of the US; 2) you don’t know the basic history of the controversial point that you keep making, in spite of many people repeatedly pointing it out to you. Either one is pretty embarrassing.

      Dec 16, 2018 16:05 AM

Hillary is a crook! Why don’t you believe that, Donnie?

check out the testimony in that House hearing regarding the Clinton Foundation. If you don’t want to hear the blow hard politicians just skip to about 15:42 where the Judicial Watch guy is interviewed. The corruption of the Clintons is unfreaking believable. I kind of construe this as being more fuel for my argument. Regardless of who said this it is further proof to me that Trump is not the man for the job.

    Dec 15, 2018 15:44 AM

I posted some info the other day concerning Flynn…..
    Looks like I had a valid argument … :)….. concerning Meranda Rights….
    https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-12-15/fbi-docs-reveal-flynn-was-not-lying-or-did-not-think-he-was-lying
Flynn’s attorney’s had noted in their memorandum to the courts that the documents revealed that FBI officials made the decision not to provide Flynn with his Miranda Rights, which would’ve have warned him of penalties for making false statements.

“The agents did not provide Gen. Flynn with a warning of the penalties for making a false statement under 18 U.S.C. 1001 before, during, or after the interview,” the Flynn memo says.

According to the 302, before the interview, McCabe and other FBI officials “decided the agents would not warn Flynn that it was a crime to lie during an FBI interview because they wanted Flynn to be relaxed, and they were concerned that giving the warnings might adversely affect the rapport.”

      Dec 15, 2018 15:47 AM

      Can General Flynn substantiate this?

        Dec 15, 2018 15:59 AM

Here is the discussion the other day………Check out J. Edger Hoover’s memo….which clearly tells you the FBI was out of protocol ……
        Off Topic:

FBI sentencing Memo of Mike Flynn.

We learn that the FBI had listened to a recording of Mike Flynn’s conversations with Russians.
(Including just before agents interviewed him. Mr Flynn had no such aid and had to rely on memory from months earlier.)

        https://assets.documentcloud.org/documents/5526092/DEFENDANT-s-MEMORANDUM.pdf

You will note from this 178 page document, the FBI agents induced Flynn not to bother with having a lawyer present, and deliberately did not warn him of his rights, because that might put him on guard.

Trump should pardon Flynn and fire the FBI agents involved for dirty use of tactics, which virtually amounted to entrapment.

That is the Department of Justice or police.

Miranda rights therefore do not apply.

You have the right to remain silent. And the FBI’s J. Edgar Hoover to thank for it.

Fifty years ago this coming Monday — June 13, 1966 — the Supreme Court held in Miranda v. Arizona that the Constitution’s Fifth Amendment, which establishes the right against self-incrimination, also requires police to advise custodial interrogation subjects that they need not answer questions or make statements. A brief filed by the American Civil Liberties Union is rightly credited with supplying the 5-to-4 majority with much of its intellectual ammunition. But Chief Justice Earl Warren’s majority opinion leaned just as heavily on a submission from the FBI, then as now not the most likely of ACLU allies. Virtually alone among law enforcement authorities, Hoover and the FBI argued that warning suspects of their rights was constitutionally sound and advisable and, in fact, had long been bureau practice. The court was impressed; Warren reprinted the FBI’s entire four-page note in his 35-page opinion.

At the time Flynn probably was not the subject, but Trump.
After Trump came up squeaky clean, the FBI scrambled to find a reason for all their investigations.
That explains why the 302 on the Flynn interrogation was not written up until 5 months after the actual questioning……very abnormal.

Flynn was never a rich man.
At the time of his guilty plea, I wrote (with references) that his admission was coerced as an alternative to bankruptcy.

The rational market by it’s very nature is not concerned with Social Justice and Fairness. Brought to you by the same people who believed that getting under their desk during a nuclear explosion was going to save their ass.
Nothing ever changes except on August 6,1945, everything changed. Thus ushering in the new reality of economic warfare because Nuclear was no longer an option. Instead of Mutual assured destruction, we now have mutual assured economic destruction.

            Dec 15, 2018 15:39 PM

A “rational” market – one with a level playing field (rule of law), IS as just and fair as we could ever hope for. “Markets” that are concerned with so-called social justice and fairness are the least just and fair of all. A good understanding of history and economics makes this perfectly clear. That’s why the globalists promote such nonsense in their Marxist institutions of higher indoctrination. Perhaps that mason’s mortar board they slap on your head once you’ve been “squared away” means something other than we’re told but it makes perfect sense that the tassel is moved from right (Dexter) to left (Sinister) at graduation.

Once a year I like to pretend like my blog is some kind of “respectable” mainstream outlet and I engage in the (admittedly totally silly!) exercise of nominating some “man” (sorry, “person” is unbearably politically correct and once you go down that route you end up calling mentally deranged freaks “ze/zir/zee/etc” and the like). Hey, if you cannot get the kind of financing AngloZionist propaganda outlets get, let us at least pretend like we are fighting on an even playing field once a year, no? So once a year I pretend like I am not a lonely “deplorable” and I chose my own heroes of the day and that sort of makes me feel the “momentary equal” to propaganda outlets like Time mag or The Economist 🙂

Wow this interview was hilarious, a real howler – all we need is a new administration to provide “effective government” and then we’ll all live happy ever after. Geez Al get someone that has graduated from elementary school to interview, someone with real world ideas such as Jeff Dietz back on your show.

      Dec 16, 2018 16:01 AM

Hey, if you don’t like it you can always listen to a McKinney interview! 🙂

      Mark,

Who are you referring to: Harlan or Dan. I spoke with both of them because I believe in listening to both sides of all stories How about you?

      Dec 16, 2018 16:33 PM

I believe that I made the comments about “effective government”. Do you think that America has an effective government now. If you do, I would suggest that elementary school should be back in your future. I would really like to know if you think that our government is effective today. I would bet that you don’t simply because listeners are bright and politically savvy. I’ll go out on a limb and bet that you fall into that category.

    FYI
On December 12, Congress passed the Farm Bill, which mainly deals with agriculture subsidies and food assistance programs. However, one of the provisions of the bill is the full legalization of hemp, the non-psychoactive component of the cannabis plant.

This is not the level of legalization Canada has passed with its Bill C-45, which allows adults to use THC-enriched cannabis for adult use, but the Farm Bill (coupled with the recent resignation of anti-cannabis attorney general Jeff Sessions) paves the way for future full decriminalization of the marijuana plant for all uses in America.

It doesn’t surprise me of all these VIP’s carrying on theses illicit acts. What frightens me is the sector of population that giggle and cheer on these officials of our gov. It is as if they (the population) have been flashed by the MEN IN BLACK gizmo, but instead of erasing their memories it removes any rational and deducing thought from the brain.
