Agree Al. Keep bailing out the banks under the table and make sure budgetary funding excludes any funding for citizens in need.

      David,

The interesting question for our totally fouled up economy is number one what banks have been bailed out in the last , let’s say, 9 years? And then, what would the implications have been were they not bailed out? The immoral action is primarily the huge pay that the executives receive regardless of their employers’ status, ayle, there’s the rub!. It sounds from your comment that you; I; and, Shakespeare’s character do not “suffer fools wisely.

    Better than yesterday’s picture?

No, the picture is grainy and there’s no purdy girl! 🙂

      Feb 14, 2019 14:08 PM

Well regarding, at least Daniella from Kicto, that is true!

        Feb 14, 2019 14:43 PM

It’s Valentines Day so go out and find yourself a purdy girl and a tall Guinness. I’m sure that’s what Irish is doing today. 🙂

“Democratic Socialists want free everything for all people”

I don’t know about “for all people,” certainly for themselves.

But let’s face it, ALL politicians want as much as possible for themselves and their cronies, the special interests that line their pockets and make their power possible.

This is the very nature of politics and goooooberment!

      Feb 14, 2019 14:10 PM

True Ed, but at least in 2020, we have a pretty good chance of STOPPING THE FOOLS!

    Feb 14, 2019 14:16 PM

And has far as “free stuff goes” it can’t be paid for. Regarding gooooberment spending and debt that Chris mentioned in today’s interview, this is what I posted.

Chris is right, the criminal politicians need inflation to reduce the real value of the debt as much as possible and there will continue to be an erosion of the standard of living if not an outright crash.

And look at the absurdity of this:

Feds Collect Record Individual Income Taxes in Calendar 2018–as Debt Climbed

    https://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/terence-p-jeffrey/1665484000000-feds-collect-record-individual-income-taxes-calendar
No matter how much the b@stard criminals in DC steal it is NEVER enough. And that goes for all the other levels of gooooberment!

Now get back to work tax serfs so you can pay Uncle. And remember, no matter how much he takes it will never be enough. You, your kids and your grand kids will always be tax serfs and debt slaves.

      Feb 14, 2019 14:31 PM

Will it be enough when the U.S. deficit is over $60 trillion?

        Feb 14, 2019 14:37 PM

I don’t think the deficit will ever get $60 trillion. The whole corrupt system will blow up before that happens. But the debt getting to $60 trillion? Probably.

When Oscario-Cortez takes over she will force Doc back to work and he will have to see 40 patients a day. And she and Hillary and Warren will enforce vaccine mandates for everyone. Argentina now has vaccine mandates that will not give you a passport or driver’s license unless your vaccines are all current.

      Feb 14, 2019 14:32 PM

I know for a fact that Doc would not play that game!

      Feb 14, 2019 14:41 PM

Bonzo, U.S. sheeple are dopes like all the rest when it comes to vaccines so it will get worse regardless of who’s in office.

We used to have a saying, The Crooks rise fast in the government. Once you finish your 3-6 month probation government employees have so much job protection from legislation and powerful unions that it is impossible to get fired. Unscrupulous people exploit this situation and move quickly up the ranks because their job is guaranteed. Once you reach management you don’t have union protection and you don’t need it because the people at the top almost always have much to hide. It is a shame that governments don’t hold their employees accountable. DT

I have always been a huge proponent of payment based on effective production. I lived by that philosophy for almost 40 years so those folks don;t get much sympathy from me!

Rumor has it that a gold mine found in Russia has enough gold to back all their printed/digital rubles.

I heard mention of it again at sgt report.

If thats the case Bix Weir better be right about billions of ounces hiding in the grand canyon.

FYI this is the breakdown for UK government spending 2019. Works out at about £2,250 per person for ‘free’ health care. Governments at both levels, central and local, spend about £165.8 billion a year on pensions, including the state pension and civil service pensions. The government spends about £151.9 billion a year on health care, principally the NHS. Governments spend about £87.7 billion a year on education at all levels, at both the central government at the local authority level. The central government spends £48.3 billion a year on defence, including the Ministry of Defence, the Foreign Office and aid programs. Governments spend £115.0 billion on “Social Security” or welfare programs. All other spending amounts to about £250 billion, including interest on the national debt. It all adds up to £817.5 billion for 2019.
