Thoughts on playing the bombed out micro caps metals stocks

Cory
April 9, 2020

Erik Wetterling joins me today to share his recent strategy of buying a couple of bombed out junior metals stocks. While prices have bounced back for some stocks anyone who is playing these micro caps do need to be very active in looking in gains because these stocks are still very risky investments.

Eric is a good listen……..interesting how he thinks. Thanks Cory.
Here’s another good listen to a discussion on Palisade with Lawrence Lepard. Don’t think Ex has posted it yet.

Thanks for the kind words SilverDollar! I always assume my rants are perhaps incoherent and doesn’t get my points across hehe 😛

      Best regards

Erik, you are perfectly coherent. Of course it helps that I usually agree with you! 😉

Good to hear Matthew! :). I feel like I am quite different compared to most “peers” and I dont know if it’s a good or a bad thing. I am surprised every time I get invited back hehe.

          All the best

Erik – I’m always glad to hear your analysis and thoughts on the sector in the daily editorials here. Keep up the great work amigo!

Those are some awesome words to hear Wolfster :). Very glad you feel you get some value out of it!

    Best regards

Thanks, Cory. Always good to hear the Horseman. I sure wish I had bought more NSRPF, IRVRF, LOMLF, OCANF, MUX, SSRM, etc. when the bottom fell out 2 weeks ago. At least I did not sell. I did buy some PSLV 2 days ago. I wonder what HH thinks about Miramont and Auryn now… Gen. Lee surrendered to Grant 155 years ago today. My grandmother’s father surrendered to Sherman 2 weeks later.

      Hi Bonzo,

I hold a decent chunk of MONT and am just waiting for a project to be announced. Might take weeks or months but when it happens I think it might revalue quite hard given it’s currently trading at an EV of US$2 M. Until then it might be very boring though. I dont own Auryn so can’t comment on that one.

All the best and thanks for the kind words,
      Erik

Thanks, HH. I will hang on to MONT for a couple more years and hope something good happens. Fortunately my NEM was up 12% today so Auryn and Miramont can go to zero and I would not even notice.

      Bonzo,
Was that Johnston? The April 26th 1865 surrender?

The reason why I ask is cause I had family involved with the same battle.
        Interesting stuff.

My great grandfather from Alabama was just 19 1/2 when the Army of TN under Gen. Joe Johnston surrendered to Sherman. 2 of his brothers were killed at Vicksburg. I also had a great-great grandfather from Mississippi who was also in the Army of TN and surrendered to Sherman 4-26-65. They both lost their farms after the war and came to Texas where their descendants got married to produce Bonzo.
