I think Big Al that you like everybody and you want to make people happy. I mean that in a genuine way. DT

Politics are very divisive and it can destroy your sole. Sometimes It is very hard to be happy when you have a political site. DT

        Jun 21, 2020 21:02 PM

Sole should be soul, dang that red wine. DT

That is a very important input to my philosophy especially today. Thank you

      Jun 22, 2020 22:10 AM

Thank Dick, you are correct as I do try to try to relate to everyone. I am finding out the difficulty and perhaps even impossibility of that desire. Thank for your input.

        You sound bitter, AL.

I am seriously concerned that in November we will have extensive riots.
It seems to me that no matter who wins almost half the country will not accept the results.
Trump may a joke out of D.C. law enforcement, by saying “If you go to church, you will be arrested, but if you burn a church you will go free”. Referring to the recent fires set in the church near the White House. We have a problem with Democrat Mayors and D.A.s. If miscreants can go cintinually unpunished, each time they become more emboldened. We, today, had more riots in Minneapolis.
We have repeatedly had riots in D.C., and LITTLE IS EVER DONE:

They need to raise the Presidents pay to about say 1.5 Billion a year to attract some decent talent.

No Way. That would attract real money-centric people, not people who care about what is best for America.

      Jun 22, 2020 22:14 AM

It would seem that we are in not a tenuous situation but a situation that cannon result in everyone being happy or at least content!

    Thanks for that Al.
You are not weak, rather you are human like the rest of us.
22 years ago I realized how weak I was as well. I asked God for help.
I always try remember that as bad as we think we have it, there is always going to be be those who have it worse.
    Remember to say thank-you.
Gold is up $19.60 an ounce in the futures. Thank-you.

With GCc1 ending last week at $1753/oz, the second highest weekly close in this cycle, the stage has been set for a potential fresh attack from bulls over the coming weeks.

Hi Glen and Jerry, the gold world is deranged, so much gold has shifted away from the west to the east and at some point the west must I say must start to buy on the gold market. Whether they like it or not China and India are holding on to their reserves. China has more than 20,000 tons, that doesn’t include the amount held by the Chinese public. America has?, well we don’t know, supposedly 8000 tons. Soon one of these countries will back their currency with gold, watch out BABY, the scramble will be on and the big grab by The West will cause panic in the gold market. DT

        Jun 22, 2020 22:59 AM

        DT……..I think you are correct……..

          Jun 22, 2020 22:03 AM

I seriously doubt the US, has 8000 tons…..The FED has been printing like mad, ever since, Munuchen looked in side the vault at FT.Knox…..
Comex, sure does not have any gold…..
London called for all the gold, I do believe , last week…..

        Jun 22, 2020 22:24 AM

        Great points Tracy!

The mentality wide spread is changing slowly but it’s changing. More will realize that gold is the sector to be in eventually. We are not to far away imo

          Jun 22, 2020 22:32 AM

Spot gold is this Monday morning at the current level ($1752/oz) on track to record its highest daily close since 2012. For a breakout to occur the price however needs to move above the May 18 high at $1765.50.
          King World News…….

            Jun 22, 2020 22:36 AM

Gold’s renewed attempt to challenge resistance has been given some tailwind from another drop in US 10-yr real yields to -0.64%, lowest level (close basis) in 7 years.

To what extent is the Mayor of Seattle culpable in allowing not one, but two murders?

I wish big Al would make the world a better place by taking a hammer and sickle to the 16 ft tall statue of Lenin in Seattle. I was making so much money on my mining shares this morning that I threw caution to the wind and bought a position in White Gold, WHGOY.
Matthew and Excelsior, do you own that one? Erik W. and Moriarity and Sprott like it.

      Jun 22, 2020 22:51 AM

Bonzo, I do not own it but I think you bought it at the perfect time based on the chart:
      https://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=WGO.V&p=D&yr=1&mn=0&dy=0&id=p10085360662

Must be a lot of scumbags in Seattle!

        Jun 22, 2020 22:46 PM

Hi bonzo. I’m aware of White Gold and follow it from afar, but have respect for Shawn Ryan and if they find the source for the gold that they are looking for it could be a major discovery for the gold sector. May your investments be prosperous.

          Jun 22, 2020 22:57 PM

As for the Lenin statue in Seattle, I’ve walked by that a number of times – it’s in the bustling bohemian area of Freemont by the infamous Freemont Troll and Freemont rocketship. It’s an artsy fartsy area of town, with many nationalities of foods, live entertainment venues, breweries, distilleries, and odd-ball retail stores, so it is just par for the course in that part of town. Most of the time that statue is being painted (the last time I walked by Lenin’s hand was painted red – a symbolic gesture on many statues or art signifying the blood that is on his hands – so that reality isn’t lost on folks), and they’ve dressed Lenin up like a ballerina, put Christmas lights around his neck, and more so it is constantly mocked. Having said that, with this all out movement to tear down offensive or oppressive statues all over the country (which I’m not really a fan of), I’m surprised it wasn’t on the list…. oh that’s right, there are socialist/communist Marxist collectivists in most liberal cities.

Even with all its flaws, scumbags, homeless tent cities, and CHAZ/CHOP nonsense, I still find the greater Seattle area to be quite beautiful, charming, and the natural splendor is truly amazing. We’re still planning on moving about 30 minutes north of the city in a few months despite my disagreement and lack of respect for the Mayor or some of the idiots in their political scene. There are many other positives that outweigh the negatives, which is why there is so much demand for real estate there.

          Cheers!

            Jun 22, 2020 22:11 PM

You can’t change or forget History by tearing down statues. DT

            Jun 22, 2020 22:12 PM

The blood on his hands is lost on most young people or, worse, they don’t care. Hitler is the devil to these humanoids but not Stalin? Yes, total scumbags.

            Jun 22, 2020 22:13 PM

DT, the fact that they don’t want to tear that one down says it all.

If I was to own one Gold Company in the Yukon, White Gold would be it.

Shawns first major deal was with Underwater Resources. Underwater resources in the Yukon in the Yukon? Go figure. At the time the deal seemed to expensive, but as it turns out Underwater sold the project to Kinross who is now a major shareholder in White Gold as well.

            Jun 22, 2020 22:02 PM

At one time I owned pretty much every company near the confluence of the White and the Yukon River. The bottom fell out of the Gold market and so did the price of the stocks.
The Coffee project with Kaminak was another success. Also the Female CEO is another success story in itself.

            Jun 22, 2020 22:29 PM

*Underworld. I owned it and Kaminak along with Brett Resources which was also bought out.

My dad always said that”growing old isn,t for sissies”. I find he was so right! I find my temperament has adjusted accordingly. I try to do the right thing. With mu family, hugs are anti poisonous. We all are prevented beyond our family from hugs by Covid. This policy is dehumanizing. I feel we should be able to agree to disagree without wanting to kill each other. I think the world needs More Statesmen. Common sense should be the rule of the day. God bless you all!
