With a total population of 7.32 million in the state, assuming you don’t visit a hospital,
assuming that every infected person, other than those in hospital are out and about shopping etc. (Highly Doubtful), the odds of you actually meeting an infected person IF YOU GO OUT SHOPPING etc. are about 1 in 250 people.
So unless you are planning on interacting with 250 people, you have a very low probability of interacting with covid-19.
And even then if you are careful and don’t touch your face and NEVER closely interact FACE-to-FACE with other people and wash your hands after touching anything you know is not contaminated the odds of catching covid-19 are damn close to WERO.
I wonder how accurate those figures are considering the CDC ordered all doctors to falsify death certificates to make the numbers appear higher.
After Inslee’s speech in Yakima, someone called the hospital to ask if the hospital was, indeed, overflowing as Inslee had. The hospital’s response was negative. 250-bed hospital with only 160 beds occupied.
Why is Inslee doing this? To pretend he is doing something, when in fact he is doing very little. Either he is not considering the mental health and economic impact, or because he wants to keep people from organizing against his rule.
There is an election going on, primary in Aug, and people are angry, very angry – if he can keep his opponents from campaigning, he has an advantage.
Chances of catching HIV….with all the crap and needles on the street……might be more deadly……

The data above was correct as of 6/22/20.
I have been processing Covid-19 data globally, for over 100 countries trying to estimate infectivity of different strains, etc.
Trying to see correlations with quality of medical systems,
correlations with race,
correlations with temperature, etc.
I can’t reproduce all the data here, since it is on a different computersystem, but I have only found one possible correlation that was really statistically significant. (More later)
I found the probability of death id NOT depend on quality of health systems, and not whether they were nationalized health systems or private, OR EVEN VIRTUALLY NON-EXISTANT (as in Africa)
I did not find any very signifcant correlation with average standard of living in a country. (This result surprized me)
I did not find any really significant correlation with race*. (* After corrected for other factors) Since African heritage is supposed to imply twice as many ACE2 receptors, this implies number of ACE2 receptors in not a factor in mortality.
Mathematically one has to be very carefully to ensure correlations are not appearing due to lack of statistically large numbers, and random variations.
I did see a number of slight correlations, but only one really strange BIG correlation, which follows.

The biggest correlation is with average Latitude of country.
I infer that this has something to do with Vitamin D concentrations in the blood due to exposure to sunlight. I could be wrong about my inference, but the higher exposure to UV seems to correlate with lower likelihood of mortality due to Covid-19.
Interesting, I think you may be on to something. I believe UV and latitude have some impact – we know the virus dies more rapidly in strong sun. This will help in the coming months.
Another possible correlation, most high death rate nations have more sophisticated health care systems, and are more hygienic communities. Could this reduce natural immunity development?
The lower death rate reporting countries also might have lower capacity to track the virus, or their numbers may be deliberately under reported?
The cclical variation of regular flu (coming back in cool/winter months) seems reasonable.
However, my research was originally aimed at seeing whether we were ging to get a cyclical variation with covid-19.
I noticed that Brazil infections were increasing as it was going into winter….although Winter in Brazil sure beats European summers, as far as I’m concerned
The correlations, hwever, are not so much with temperature and infection rates, but are more pronounced with UV and death rates. (Australia with its ozone hole should show up, but it does not have enough infections yet)
I had to just take the numbers as published, without speculating on detection rates and accuracy.

The data processing encounters problems with some countries only having low infections at this point of time. Many countries in Africa do not have large enough infection rates to produce good statistics.
Many of the countries above have 1,000 deaths or more, but Chad has 76 8.2%, Botswana 38 1.1%, where averages are not so meaningful.

Why not use the Democratic Model to create a true sanctuary city. You could legalize the constitution and establish the rule of law. Enforce 1st,2nd,3rd amendments. Establish property rights. No property tax. No income tax. You could have a gold backed currency. If CNN came to town you could seize their equipment and charge them with causing the 2020 riots and fine them 1 year’s earnings say around 100 billion. If George bush or Obama came to town you could arrest them and charge them with war crimes then execute them. Of course using the democratic model, you would have to install the mayor city council judges and Sheriff. But you could do it legally. I would call this city CHAD.
