Cassiar Gold – Introducing this exploration Company with a 1million oz Gold resource and 15,000meters of exploration drilling planned this year

Cory
February 16, 2021

Marco Roque, President and CEO of Cassiar Gold (TSX.V:GLDC – OTCQB:CGLCF) joins me for a discussion on the Company’s Cassiar Gold Project in BC and the 15,000 meters of drilling planned for this year.

Marco and I start with an overview of the current resource which stands at 1million ounces of Gold at an average grade of 1.43g/t. We discuss the past production and infrastructure that is on site. The focus this year will be on exploration drilling around the current resource but mostly at news high grade targets on the South part of the project. We also outline the management team and share structure, including large key shareholders.

If you have any follow up questions for Marco please email me at Fleck@kereport.com. I would also love to hear what you all think of this Company, so please email me your thoughts.

Cassiar is a huge favorite of DrJimJones on ceo.ca. who is well worth listening to.

Agreed blazesb. I started following Cassiar Gold more closely thanks to Doc Jones coverage and research.

I’m interested to see how their upcoming exploration season goes at Cassiar North and in particular how the drilling goes at their higher grade targets at Cassiar South. It is also key that they already have the all the infrastructure in place with the prior producing mill, tailings, roads, etc… It looks quite prospective for a re-rating in 2021.

Correct blazesb, Solid interview, first time I heard about the geological comparison to Barkerville. I’m intrigued by “news on that front in the near future.” in regards maximizing assets values. Maybe the resource update or I think maybe they will create a spin-co for the Sheep Creek Project Land package, that would be a nice gift to shareholders as it’s not getting any value currently because it’s not the focus. That land package is a company maker on its own. see below: (what I also find interesting in the first webinar after finally drill results Marco had said the resource will grow 30-50% from 2020 drilling, then in the second stated it’s currently around 1.5 million ozs, then hushed on putting a number on it. I think he was told you can’t publicly say that until we officially release a new resource. So 20 million enterprise value with 1.5 million ozs in bulk tonnage and 70k at 22g/t to the south being drilled for expansion in q2, 40k ozs in tailings at +1g/t, add it all up that’s $12.4 Canadian dollars an oz plus another district scale land package Sheep Creek…. )

“The Sheep Creek Gold District is an orogenic gold district with historical gold production of almost 800,000 ounces at an average gold grade of 14.4 g/t. Cassiar Gold has consolidated the claims in this district for the first time ever, to allow systematic, modern exploration of the 10 km long prospective belt.

A recent Geoscience BC Report has shown that veining at Sheep Creek is analogous to that in the Barkerville area. In contrast to Barkerville, the Sheep Creek Gold District has had minimal modern exploration since mining ceased in the early 1950’s.

The area is underlain by sequence of Cambrian metasediments, including argillite, quartzite and limestone, which are intruded by two separate intrusive events, one in the mid-Jurassic and the other in the Cretaceous. As a result of Jurassic accretion, the sediments have been folded into major anticline/syncline pairs with north-trending axial planes. Veins formed in the final stages of the accretion event, and are preferentially hosted within more brittle units within the metasedimentary sequence, or within pre-vein Jurassic intrusives.

    OWNERSHIP

Cassiar entered into an option agreement to earn 100% interest in the Sheep Creek Gold Deposit district in early 2017.

    HISTORIC PRODUCTION (1900 – 1951)

    785,000oz Au
    Average grade 14.4g/t Au

Boom! … and like a superhero that emerges to help the average citizens… Doc Jones emerges.

Great info as per usual Doc. (not to be confused with Doc Postma)

      Ever Upward!

        Feb 16, 2021 16:04 PM

Right Ex, that’s some potentially valuable insight just shared with general populace.

          Feb 16, 2021 16:33 PM

Agreed Canuckski. I believe Doc Jones is spot on about Cassiar’s ability to increase the amount of their ounces in the ground in a substantial way with this years exploration program, and if they keep hitting on high grade zones in the bulk tonnage areas of Cassiar North, that will add more ounces to their reserves quickly, but the real fireworks will be if they can hit some really high grade intercepts over at Cassiar South.

Their other project, Sheep Creek, also looks quite prospective for more exploration work to be done, as Doc Jones outlined above.

Cassiar is going to be an interesting exploration company to follow for this year, and wishing their team great success.

Hey Dr. J. you do get around. I read you on ceo nearly every day. Nice to see you here.

This is the first webinar after finally drill results from their 2020 program. In it Marco says clearly “Resource will increase 30-50%”. Don’t take my work for it, take his. Then as I said in a prior post, the next one done by Red cloud I think? , he says “1.5 million ozs……” Do the math, 1.5 million near/at surface, free millings at least 1.47 g/t, power, road access, in Canada, Mill permit, etc, etc Super Cheap https://register.gotowebinar.com/register/5929020106866681099?source=ceo

    Feb 18, 2021 18:12 PM

Here is an interview where Marco says the resource is about 1.5 million ozs now and at a slightly higher grade based on results from 2020 winter drill program. Enjoy Doc
