ASANTE GOLD ANNOUNCES CAD$5.0 MILLION PLACEMENT OVERSUBSCRIBED ADDITIONAL CAD$2.0 MILLION ACCEPTED

Really solid overview of Calibre Mining’s operational success with their hub and spoke production model from multiple deposits to the central mill. They are really doing a good job drawing value out of the projects they acquired from the big boys, and also with the potential for exploration upside at a number of their projects. CXB is looking attractive at it’s current valuation as smaller mid-tier producers with a hefty pipeline of growing projects and ability to grow resources as well as production output.

      Activ day;
Took some profits from Sokoman, Great Bear, Pure Gold
Added to: Aurcana, Granite Creek, New Age, Vizsla
New: Goro and Calibre ( Owned before)
Down day in rotation but some (as usual) had a good day and some didn’t.

Thanks for sharing David. I didn’t do much trading today, but sold my Northern Vertex position as I’ve been underwhelmed with their acquisition of Eclipse, not so impressive drill results, and I just feel there are better producers out there to be involved with… like Caliber mentioned above. I have a small stake in Caliber, but plan on adding more and building it up to a larger weighting. I added a little bit to copper producer (MIN) Excelsior Mining today as it has been trading down on lower volume, and is looking like a more attractive valuation at current levels. In addition, I added 2 crypto miners today into the weakness (HODL) Cypherpunk Holdings, and (HIVE) Hive Blockchain, as they were correcting down today, and those are purely speculative punts on higher crypto prices to come and the madness of crowds. I also added my second lithium battery company (EFL) Electrovaya, after adding (HPQ) HPQ-Silicon Resources to my portfolio last week.

          Mar 22, 2021 22:48 PM

In reading that back over I should clarify that EFL is my second battery company, and is Lithium Ion related, whereas, HPQ is more Silicon & Hydrogen battery related.

HPQ Well-funded to Advance Its Silicon and Nano-silicon Materials Initiatives in Both Batteries & Hydrogen

            by @nasdaq on 4 Mar 2021

HPQ continues to look for synergistic opportunities in order to remain at the forefront of innovative processes for the storage and delivery of clean renewable energy,” said Bernard Tourillon, Chairman and CEO of HPQ Silicon Resources Inc. “HPQ’s Silicon R&D Consortium has the depth and flexibility to meet the challenges, as we strive to produce products for renewable energy storage participants and electric vehicle manufacturers, each of which is searching for cost-effective ways to increase the Silicon content of their batteries. We are very confident that the Silicon materials we are developing, with our expected low-cost scalable processes, will be in high demand for batteries, and by EV manufacturers and other participants in the ongoing renewable energy revolution.”

I sold Northern Vertex a few weeks ago as a trade off for adding to something like Novo, Denison or Discovery. Can’t remember but just had too many stocks.

            Mar 22, 2021 22:18 PM

Yeah, I was already planning on reducing down my NEE exposure anyway, but then this drill result came out today that really underwhelmed me, and I still had a small profit in Northern Vertex at today’s prices and figured, there were plenty of areas that I’d rather put those funds now and later, and had already scalped some nice gains off the Northern Vertex position last August 13, and Sept 9, so it was still a good run overall, but the core position was creating an opportunity cost, and I it will take a long time to get Eclipse’s project into production and isn’t an imminent value driver.

            Mar 22, 2021 22:21 PM

This wasn’t anything to get too excited about…

(NEE) Northern Vertex Intersects 30.48 Meters of 1.63 g/t Gold and 18.27 g/t Silver from Surface and 39.62 Meters of 1.12 g/t Gold and 5.38 g/t Silver at Hercules Gold Project, Nevada

Northern Vertex nay have gone into Ely as Ely working Nevada also. That makes more sense that I would have done that.

            Mar 22, 2021 22:19 PM

Yeah, I’m very constructive on ELY Ely Gold Royalties from here, and hope they pick off Sailfish’s Nevada Royalties that are up for grabs at present.

          Mar 22, 2021 22:52 PM

Excelsior I also added some Excelsior -:)

They have some production issues (CO2 that lowers pressure in their injection wells).

Might take a while before that gets solved. With the last financing they probably have 12-18 months to solve it. Maybe more, depending on how much money they can make at $4 copper.

(USAS) (USA) Americas Gold and Silver: Another Quarter Of Disappointments

    Mar. 22, 2021 – T. D. – Seeking Alpha

    > Americas Gold and Silver released its Q4 and FY2020 results this week, reporting a massive drop in annual revenue given that Cosala barely contributed and Relief Canyon’s major delays.
    > Unfortunately, just two months after reporting commercial production at Relief Canyon, we’ve learned that Q1 will be another disappointment due to weather and COVID-19 cases.
    > While every company was entitled to an excuse or two in FY2020 due to COVID-19 related headwinds, the list of excuses at Relief Canyon seems to be never-ending.
    > Based on continued under-performance and uncertainty surrounding the Cosala Operations, I would view any rallies to US$3.20 as selling opportunities.

Next month will probably be another negative month for USAS—-technically it should be a buy around $2.00—-haven’t been purchasing anything lately with no nibbling since I’m waiting for the clock to turn on April so I can get a bearing on the long term charts for that month—not excited about April for gold/silver. Mentioning silver; it looks weak here.

      Mar 22, 2021 22:48 PM

Gosh, that is disappointing. I have been pretty patient with USAS, but I might have to pull the rip cord. Not impressed with management.

        Mar 22, 2021 22:06 PM

Yeah, I blew out most of my shares in USAS last week after I read this article that Wolfster had posted. I don’t like how things are developing at their San Rafael mine w/ the government of Mexico versus the management at Americas Gold and Silver.

Mexican president pressures Canadian miner over union dispute

        By Reuters Staff – March 17, 2021

“Mexico could revoke a concession held by Canadian miner Americas Gold and Silver Corp in northern Mexico if it does not accept its new trade union representation there, President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said on Wednesday.”

“Speaking at a regular news conference, Lopez Obrador said he would direct his foreign minister to speak to Canadian officials about the dispute playing out at Toronto-based Americas Gold and Silver’s San Rafael mine, located in Sinaloa state.”

“Lopez Obrador, a frequent critic of the mining sector’s footprint in Mexico, said the company had rejected the outcome of a vote by workers at the mine to put labor representation under the control of a national miners trade union led by a close ally of his who also serves as a ruling party senator.”

“Americas Gold and Silver needed to honor the result or it would be failing to uphold Mexico’s labor laws, Lopez Obrador said.”

          Mar 22, 2021 22:29 PM

It’s a shame really, because USAS is a company I’ve held since late 2015/early 2016 in various sizes, and traded partial positions dozens and dozens of times around the core position. I had gone in heavier over the last 2+ years, waiting for the turnaround, but until this situation in Mexico is resolved, I don’t like the potential of the Mexican government putting a kibosh on the San Rafael mine if they don’t jump the correct hoops to please the bureaucrats. If they get things resolved where all parties are done tugging on one another, and if they can get their Relief Canyon gold mine operated as planned with better results then I may get back in USAS down the road. Right now there are plenty of other producers getting it done right, however, they are more pricey as a result.

        Mar 22, 2021 22:44 PM

You can’t predict the insanity in these markets but if you can spot trends it’s a great time to be invested. China has turned the paradigm upside down now The US has to figure out how to beat an adversary. That is the game, how do we beat The Chinese. DT
