I have visited China, and believe the Chinese people have changed since the time of Tienanmen Square.

Thanks for the interesting article I started reading it and reading it and started giving me a headache. It just keeps going, so I just decided to abandon the whole idea of reading it.
I have my own ideas regarding slavery not everyone was a slave either. That was part of the culture and God allowed it. All the research I’ve done on the subject many of the slaves were very content and happy. There was good and bad about it there’s nothing perfect in this society either there’s lots of people suffering in poverty homeless encampments everywhere. First time in history.
Besides that, most people are a slave to their jobs and some of them are making very little money.
Some of the research I’ve done many slaves received 2 months off during the year and they were treated like family. Some even treated like royalty living better than their masters.
There was the ugly too and I’m not going to attack God over it because He allowed it. To go against God is pure eternal suicide. Like Job told his wife, you don’t know who God is. Want to burn forever in eternal flames for eternity. Start mocking God.
Unfortunately, it’s just a witch hunt looking for any reasons to attack God.
That’s just it, I notice that the more people have and enjoy in a prosperous life the less they think of God. On the flip side of things the less people have the more they honor God.
It’s like the camel going through the eye of a needle those that are rich because they’re going to love their money they can’t separate themselves from it and put God first. The Bible says you’ll either love the one or hate the other. You can’t serve both money and God too.
There are some that don’t put the money before God. Now, if you’re in the super super rich category it’s probably impossible to put God first. The rich man in the Lazarus story was extremely wealthy. Religious and self-centered. Lazarus was eating crumbs from under the table. The religious rich man looked down upon Lazarus. You’re poor and God doesn’t love you. The rich man went to hell and Lazarus ended up in heaven.
We can’t go against God and get away with it. At least we can’t stay in that condition up until death. I’ve had many disagreements with God but I’m not in that condition now and hopefully not in the future either. There’s nothing wrong with wrestling with God however you can’t be hating on God either and mocking Him. Certainly not up until death.End up in eternal punishment forever. Hopefully people come to their senses and start seeking God before it’s too late and repent of their sins. Come to the love of the truth or perish in eternal flames. The Fate is set forever.

What’s noteworthy is the sheer number of corporate violations of laws and regulations–thousands upon thousands, the vast majority of which occurred since corporate profits began their incredible ascent in the early 2000s–and the list of those paying hundreds of millions of dollars in fines and settlements, which reads like a who’s who of Corporate America and Top 100 Global Corporations.
I encourage you to open one of the three alphabetical tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet on Google Docs and scroll down to find your favorite super-profitable corporation.
Many have a long list of fines and settlements, and many of the fines are in excess of $100 million. Many are for blatant cartel price-fixing, not disclosing the dangers of the company’s heavily promoted medications, destroying documents to thwart an investigation of wrong-doing, etc.
I actually have been complaining since we first started selling off ports prior to the 2008 financial crisis.
One of the first was the Port of Long Beach to the Arab Emirates……since sold to a Chinese company.
And China has been buying up ports all over the world. (Actually Chinese companies, but control ultimately is the CCP.)
