Two days and no decision.
It concerns me that the jury is not sequestered……I think that is a big mistake.
I believe it is inevitable that some members are now feeling intimidated or scared that if they don’t vote guilty, their city will be subjected to further riots, looting and burning.
This virtually guarantees a hung jury.
I think the judge understands very well what happened and what is currently happening, although I also think he is scared.

I do not have any experience with the law and justice system in Wisconsin, but am very familiar with Indiana.
If there is no decision this week……and after tomorrow time ceases to be on the side of a decision,

Actually, writing hymns and songs to The Lord is a great idea to get much closer to The Lord a really Holy Spirit filled way to spend your time. John was probably the youngest of the disciples, and certainly had the longest life. He took care of the mother of Jesus until her death, and then went to Ephesus where he wrote his three epistles.
According to Christian writer Tertullian, for preaching the gospel, Roman authorities exiled him to the Greek island of Patmos after supposedly throwing him into boiling oil from which, if true, he escaped unscathed. It is written that he received the revelation from Christ in Patmos, where he wrote the ‘Book of Revelation’.
At an unknown later date he eventually returned to Ephesus, where he died of old age sometime after 98 C.E. (last recorded mention), in his nineties, and was buried in modern-day Selçuk, Turkey, where his tomb is located in the ruins of a, once fabulous, Basilica, built in the shape of a cross with 6 domes.
(Not being Christian does not stop me from having interests in early civilizations, society and art in all forms. It was John’s longevity that caused him often to be painted somewhat effeminately in both Eastern and Western early art.)

HG, it was my study of theology that led to an interest in history.
I have desribed myself as close to an early Gnostic and Jesus as a Gnostic Jew, but OOTB did not like that and believes that early Gnostics have similar beliefs to modernday Gnostics….they did not.
So, anyway, to avoid confusion, I no longer describe myself as Gnostic, just not Christian.
The early church was, however, rather different from modern Christian churches, as it was co-opted by the Romans, and the even more modified later by Constantine.
CFS, That’s a very interesting subject I’m not familiar with Gnostic. Did a little research on it and sounds like a cult. Although, I really don’t know because the information is all over the place on the internet. I agree though Christianity was much different in times past, say probably at least over 100 years. The early church practiced a true Christianity nothing like we see today.
I refer to myself as a Bible believer whenever I can. It’s very difficult though to eliminate the name Christianity or Christian. Christianity has a bad name and that’s because the Christian community is no different than the world in majority of the cases. There’s only a small remnant that are practicing true Christianity of those that claim to be believers or Christians. True Christian believers are to separate themselves from the world and we only have a light touch with the world. We are to separate ourselves, period. Many professing Christians are not in faith. Their just playing Church. All the scriptures are not taken seriously and are not obedient to The Word whatsoever. Without Love and kindness a Christian has nothing completely out of faith. Many things that professing Christians should be practicing do not exist. They refuse to abide by The Word. The early church was abiding by The Word.

By the way, having a difficult time keeping up replies. I like the new format however there are some cons to it and that’s just the way it is. As long as the proprietors are benefiting that’s all that matters. So, I might have to take a hiatus now and then because it’s more time consuming. Everyone might like that anyway 😂
