Kodiak Copper – Drilling Updates After Just Closing an Oversubscribed C$9.6million Financing
Claudia Tornquist, President and CEO of Kodiak Copper (TSX.V:KDK – OTCQB:KDKCF) joins us to provide an exploration update at the MPD Project now that the Company just closed an up-sized and oversubscribed financing. Tech participated to maintain it’s 9.9% interest and some key insiders also participated.
We have Claudia share a few more details on the financing then get into the current exploration program. With a drilling budget of $10million this year the Company is cashed up with around $18million now in the bank. We recap the targets being drilled including a couple new area that are being drilled for the first time this year. As Claudia states “This year is all about exploration and discovery drilling”.
If you have any follow up questions for Claudia please email us at Fleck@kereport.com and Shad@kereport.com.

AVLNF big announcement today, nice move
Buzz – Thanks for the heads up on Avalon. Yes, big news that they are building a battery materials separation plant for Lithium in Thunder Bay. Looks like it will have spare capacity to process other pegmatite hard rock lithium projects material from the area.
This ties into the same theme of investment in the strategic battery metals sector.

Canada to invest C$2 bln on mineral strategy for EV battery supply chain
@sustainabedude on 4 Apr 2022
“Canada’s federal budget will include an investment of at least C$2 billion ($1.6 billion) for a strategy to accelerate the production and processing of critical minerals needed for the electric vehicle (EV) battery supply chain, two senior government sources said.”
“Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government, which is due to release its budget on Thursday, will make the investment to ramp up the extraction of processing of critical minerals including nickel, lithium, cobalt and magnesium, said the sources who are familiar with the matter…”
Thanks for mentioning that; I think I’ve owned AVLNF for about 20 years.
Cool Doc Rocks
About the time we started loading up on SBUX.
Thanks gentlemen. Nice little update. Maybe next time could we get an update on the Mohave property in Arizona as well. There was some chatter at some point that they might start doing some work on it too. Cheers.
