Gerald Celente: Political Atheism

June 2, 2014

Our good friend Jeff Deist over at the Mises Institute recently interviewed Gerald Celente. They chat about the second American Revolution and how oligarchs have come to power in the U.S.

People from middle America are very worried about the loss of their living standards and Gerald Celente tells them why?

    Direct voting has two problems:

The biggest one is the knowledge and intelligence of the populace.

Probable total fraud. We have bad fraud at the moment; I can’t imagine how ridiculous mass direct election would be.

That guy sounds like a crazy person to me.

      Jun 02, 2014 02:05 PM

DO you mean Gerald sounds crazy…..haven’t you ever heard Gerald before…You should have heard him when MFGLOBAL under CORSLIM stole his money………..

        Jun 02, 2014 02:26 PM

He is a ranting lunatic. Yes, I have heard him before. He typically gets maximum one minute of my time before I pull the plug on his bizarre tough guy attitude and all the false bravado and bullshit.

what do you expect from a New Yorker………..

            Jun 02, 2014 02:02 PM

            Is that the reason?

            Jun 02, 2014 02:16 PM

Jerry, you are wasting you’re time with trying to defend Celente with the likes of Birdman.

    Jun 02, 2014 02:04 PM

Well he has been one of the most accurate forecaster’s of the century… Very hard to ignore! Although he does appear lunie.

Listen to the loonies. Gerald Celente & Jim Willie, two cats that I will always listen to no matter how crazy it may sound. I may not agree with all they say, but both talk about things that no one else is talking about. What I like most about these 2 crazy cats is that they are “out there”, and don’t care what anyone thinks about them.

I visit KWN weekly and like almost all the guests there. Eric got a very distinct and high quality group of people in various areas. However, Gerald Celente is the one of the few I feel I don’t want to listen. Even though a lot of his predictions (or I almost call them wishes) are will footed and eventually come true one way or the other, the degree and time frame is way off. I would say that something is wrong and immoral does not mean it will get punished right away. I don’t care about politics and I don’t want to use hope as my investment strategy. I will much rather listen to Rick Rule, John Hathaway, Bill Fleckenstein, etc. However, he is out there with Jim Willie. I think we can listen and remember what they say. Keep what they say on the back of your mind. Never trust their time frames. I remember Gerald and Jim were talking financial collapse way before 2008 and media laughed them as pessimistic porn. It turned out they were much closer to reality and without FED sinking in trillions of dollars, there would be a financial collapse. This world is too complex so we can cannot afford to ignore anything someone who we dislike as GC.

        Jun 03, 2014 03:23 AM

Lawrence………..I do not think you can just pick on GC and his time frame……beside Rick and Fleck have been wrong a long time…………….I have to go with BIG AL, when he says…..”you need to listen to all”……..be your own person, and get the knowledge and do your best…….because just about everyone is guessing at this point……….best j ootb

          Jun 03, 2014 03:49 AM

Agree but I do find GC slightly repellent. I listen to him once a while but it is difficult to listen all the time.

Nobody is perfect but I like to listen to people with logic not strong emotion. Just my personal taste though.

          Jun 03, 2014 03:10 AM

BTW, I think Rick Rule’s method of investing can make people rich if you have the will power. He made himself multi-millionaire by investing in tough times. I did not like him for a long time and in recent few years he becomes my favorite.

            Jun 03, 2014 03:53 AM

Rich …….is ok, but, the problem I see with him……..his wealth is recent, and mostly being in the right place at the right time., which can be said for a lot of wealthy guys., his experiences are from the last go round, which does not mean we are going to have the same experience going forward…………JMHO………………..J…..OOTB.

            Jun 03, 2014 03:55 AM

sorry I ment RICK…….btw….I do respect what he has to say concerning miners.

We need more “Celentes” if only to awaken the uninformed and uneducated. CFS refers to the knowledge and intelligence of the populace (or lack thereof). Maybe a kid from the Bronx is what it takes to get through to people who have just been raped. It’s like the woman who would allow such a crime to go unreported. Are you gonna tell her after the fact that everything’s gonna be alright? No. She’s left with a permanent scar.

They way i see it, the Country’s repeatedly getting screwed from left and right; no holds barred. The average person will lie there and take it, but how much more until they’re all used up. You may not agree with Celente’s delivery, but at least he’s out there shaking things up. I mean its easy to hangout with high net worth friends looking down upon the masses and think we have all the answers. We don’t! But we have enough intelligent people who, if they decide to get out of their comfort zone, could make a difference in their own community. That’s what Celente is doing and he puts his money where his mouth is. I don’t begrudge him the fact that’s he’s built a platform from which to operate, or that he often uses the word “asshole” on occasion to describe our politicians. Then calls them out on their bullshit! I don’t have a problem with that.

Speaking of politics, I think Direct Democracy can work, only maybe there needs to be an economic reset ahead of that. Think about it, Celente mentions “if you can bank online, you can vote online.” Take it a step further and develop fraud-proof Polling Place Apps for local and then national elections — Why not?

Tell you why not… Anything fraud-proof can’t be “fixed”.

And tell you what… If something doesn’t change and soon, the Nation as a whole is going to end up like that rape victim. She’s gonna need a doctor.
