Birdman ? What you think off Roger ?

Not really a fan, Franky. What Roger is talking about here is a tired out reprise of the kind of commentary that steered so many people wrong on the markets direction since the Global Financial Crisis ended.

Basically, the market does not care about the work of John Williams or whether the economic data and US numbers are fudged or not. The market also does not care that GDP is calculated differently, that unemployment is higher than public records indicate or that inflation is being massaged.

And for all those who put stock in the dire end-of-world scenarios presented as an outcome of Shadowstats analysis then they have been suffering losses on their investments or have been missing the boat altogether for the past years as markets soared higher.

So I really don’t get why Roger is making a big issue about funny data now when it has been decisively proven that basing investment decisions on anything John Williams does only leads to wrong conclusions on what the actual direction of stock markets might be.

This is a tired old drum beat we are hearing and I have learned it is better to tune out the noise than bother to hook my chariot to ideas that just lead one down the wrong path.

Sorry Roger….give us something that makes money for a change.

It’s simple, when the Labor Dep. shows the REAL number on the next month (probably near 200.000), they gonna shock the conventional market.

I totally agree with Rog but think it would be interesting to have a guest on your show who totally agrees with the job numbers and unemployment rate. I’d love to hear this topic debated.

      Tom,

It is truly all in the computation. Definitions come and definitions go!

Tom….Who would be dumb enough to come on here to discuss that…………
Obama maybe !!!!..or what about the UKs Cameron.

OOOPS…..Forget the above, after all we all know the both of them are compulsive liars.

Totally disagree with this guy. The unemployment rate is not any where near 25%. I know of no one who does not have a job (not including housewives, disabled or retired people or students). If you can’t get of job of any kind today in my area of the country it is probably because you have a criminal record or you do not have a car or you have some other problems like a poor work history. Unemployment today is not the same as it was in the 1930’s Depression. And we are not in a Depression. There are plenty of jobs. Sure, most of them are low paying or part-time. In the 1930’s you were glad to have any kind of job, even part-time.

I am with you JMiller. A 25% unemployment rate is poppycock.

I for one am glad you are back Birdman. It is always good to have more people on here who are sound minded. Not people who are quick to buy into the fear mongers and doomsayers propaganda.
