The wall street shuffle is caused by people that eat too much fast food, one of the biggest threats to people in America is obesity leading to diabetes and many, many, other health problems. The last time I was in The US so many people are overweight that they only wear jogging pants because ordinary clothing makes them feel too uncomfortable.

How can you teach people about financial well being when physically so many of them look like beached whales. Positive thinking begins with proper nutrition and you see almost no emphasis placed on this in our society based on the numbers of outright obese out there.

If they want to improve society they need to have people aware of their nutritional intakes and how it affects their thinking and progress in life. DT

Just look at Asian people who move to North America and watch how fast the North American diet affects their waistline, if you travel to China I’m sure you would see a lot of very thin people much like we had here prior to the introduction of fast food restaurants in the 1960’s. DT

If you want to defeat an adversary try giving them the North American diet replete with all the physical luxuries we enjoy. DT

    Al:

Since you can see Canada from your window and Sarah Palin can see Russia from hers, Does that make you ideological soulmates? With such keen vision, keep an eye out on the #6 Zags…………………………21-2…………………………………..

    Hey Al,

You regularly mention you buy silver rounds. I’m just curious to know why not buy “junk silver” instead ?(US silver dimes, quarters, half dollars, etc from before 1965). The coins are already in smaller money ‘units’ whereas a one ounce silver round might be “too much money” in the future to buy say a tank of gas, in which case what would you take back as “change”?.

By the way, I’m not looking at this from a coin collector view what-so-ever. Junk silver is usually worn out coins with high mintage… basically worth just the metal value.
