Al has lost his personal touch for his forum, those are his words for this blog, a blog is what we have now, and I think we will not have the personal interaction that was the hallmark in the past. It has taken on a similarity that we see in big government. DT

Big Government. Do you know what Obamaphones cost last year?

      Answer: $2,200,000,000.00.

Now divide by the number of tax-payers and you will know what your share of the cost was.
We need to end this government-buying of votes.
But I have no hope it will ever happen. Americans are too complacent or too stupid or both.

CFS, you are preaching to the choir, that maybe how you see things but that is not my point. Just continually providing links without much commentary is not helping anyone other than yourself. DT

I have to respectfully disagree Machine Gun.

Again, I agree completely with your initial comment and again thank you!

Well, I thought I was bringing in stuff, you might not otherwise have seen.
But I can spend my time better, I guess. Bye y’all.

To be a successful businessman you must pretend at least that you are one of the boys, the family matters, forget about lip service we can see that. DT

Without a few good people posting on this site it simply becomes another spot where you can read news reports and on the internet there are many. DT

Two more really good observations, Machine Gun.

EEEYUUU has put on another band aid and futures have shot up as well as European markets setting up for a huge rally on Friday and a break of the 50 day average finally for the S&P. I loaded up on Intel the last few days on the drop. Bought Nem too.

Did y’all notice the three most active stocks in Canada today were all energy stocks?
SGY up 9.0%, TOG up 6.6% and BNK up 5.1% No recommendations, just a comment.
I’m sure it is partly due to Middle East problems.

Coxe had his weekly comments yesterday; very pro-Japan market expansion.

Listen to this and wonder why there is still a close relationship between England and the US.

JERUSALEM (AP) — The U.S.-funded Alhurra network said Thursday that one of its cameramen was interrogated and strip-searched by Israeli security men while covering a July 4 party at the U.S. ambassador’s residence near Tel Aviv.
The Arab satellite channel had coordinated with the Israeli prime minister’s office to cover the event on behalf of the international media.
    Those darned Israeli’s unreasonably searching!
But how come my tax dollars fund an Arab Net-work?
