Freedom to act on ones own initiative and take advantage of opportunity as it emerges is what our founding fathers envisioned for this great republic. The further we drift toward handouts and control the more we deviate from that vision and the less great our nation becomes. Great video! It makes me want to run for public office just to try to fix the mess we are in.

Thanks Dennis M. What a lovely guy Senator Elbert Guillory is – exposing the left wing plantations in which only the weeds of freedom grow.

Guillory makes some great points however the Republican Party is NOT the party of Lincoln or even DDE anymore. He is just moving from one bad apple to a bad orange.

      ditto Bobby

One of the biggest mistakes on my life was switching my affiliation from independent to republican so that I could vote of Ron Paul in the Florida primary. I am sickened to be on the republican list. I believe this was a large mistake by Ron also and a move to further his son’s agenda. I also believe that Rand is NO Ron and I will think twice before voting for anyone calling himself a republican or democrat for that matter.

Bobby I wish I could join the Pro-Life Libertarian Party but it is not a viable option.
The conflict of belonging to a party that always agrees with you and belonging to a party that offers viable candidates will always be difficult.
Maybe we are not far from new viability for liberty loving electors.
As Virgil wrote it long ago and adopted by Mises as a moto…………
“Tu ne cede malis sed contra audentior ito.”

I agree with you Bobby…….Paul should have moved completely away from the Republican party……I to supported Ron in both elections………..I also, agree with you on Rand………just more of the same old BS……….

        Jan 19, 2014 19:30 PM

Sorry, Republican party and democratic party are the same corrupt institution.

No real difference, only us sheeple are supposed to believe there is.

    No way.

The Republican party is a Fascist party, favoring big business over the people, in my humble opinion.

      Jan 20, 2014 20:32 AM

Repeat what I said earlier franky – Is David Icke a fraud and/or a freemason?

Most people today support the Fascist thinking , they come from both parties , all walks of life and from every religion even those who call themselves free market supporters love Freedom with Qualifications . Do what I do I give no consent to government , I don’t encourage them by voting, i live by 2 simple rule’s “1) I don’t aggress against another person or there property . 2) I keep all my promises or contracts . Do that and you will find government is not needed or wanted !

“But one thing I wanted to show you and talk about because you said that lower interest rates help people. Well, if money printing helps everybody, then why does not everybody in the whole world always have zero interest rates? And everybody would be rich. You keep on printing money and you don’t need to work here, you don’t need to put on makeup. I could stay in bed the whole day and go drinking in the evenings. So, let’s just print money and be all happy. It doesn’t add up. One thing about the figures you showed: first of all, you live in New York. Do you really think that your cost-of-living increase is a 1.2% per annum? You really believe that? It doesn’t feel like more, it feels like five times more, or even ten times more.”

“Number two, by keeping interest rates at zero percent on the Fed fund rate — I want to emphasize that this is now going on in March of 2014 for five years. It is not something new. For five years this has happened. You penalize the income earners, the savers who save, your parents, why should your parents be forced to speculate in stocks and in real estate and everything under the sun?”
