Hi AL…Do not knock yourself man. In all the years i have been on this site i have allways had respect for your morals & respect for your fellow human beings .
Whats happened Al , is your ears & eyes have been fully opened to whats happening in the world , & you dont like what you are seening , so yes you are going to get angry.
Look at all my rants over the years , i get so frustrated because i see the badness going on around me , & there is nothing i can do about it so it makes me swear & shout….But thats a normal human trait .
My advice to you is get it out of your system , but be kind & loving to your family & friends & the people who care like you.
I hope what i just wrote doe’s not come across as a load of crap.
    Respect to you………….tony

The Federal government spends about $52,000 per second.
The catch 22 is that other than token interest rate increases to try to limit inflation, the Federal Reserve cannot raise rates significantly.
Trump and most politicians of all parties in government do not want to cut spending.

As entitlements decome due and payable, the government will print more money.
As government short-term bonds become due and payable there will be no choice but to print money.

It happened to Germany after WWI.
    It happened to Zimbabwe.
Inflation in Venezuela is projected to reach a growth of 1,000,000% by the end of this year.

The US is doing well right now because it is the least rotten egg in the basket.
But as Russia and China self off US treasuries, how quickly will inflation happen as the Fed prints more money?

Regardless, I have to say that our politicians are simply irresponsible. And, they all know it.

      Welcome to the downfall!

      CFS,

Any opinion of tulips? Maybe I am being simplistic, but it seems to be going in that exact direction

      Getting worse and worse.

Big Al ln keeping his anger to a minimum and his sanity to a high level so I am back into baseball,

      Jul 24, 2018 24:06 PM

Believe it or not, I have also given up on Ron Paul and his crew.

        Jul 24, 2018 24:07 PM

And why have I given up? Same old story with no solutions since I met him over ten years ago.

          Jul 24, 2018 24:20 PM

Big Al, you are not being fair to Ron Paul. Congressman and Dr. Ron Paul has a lot of solutions but the establishment won’t accept his thinking and implement his ideas and neither sadly will you.

The US wouldn’t need to have a charity called wounded warriors if they would just stop the wars and bring the troops home. Now you tell me how much you have changed and any new ideas that you would like to see other than your usual lip service. DT

            Jul 24, 2018 24:09 PM

Damn right DT. The truly problematic “same old story” is the one that Al represents — the sleeping masses who consistently vote against themselves and couldn’t care less about facts.

Ron Paul didn’t fail, the sheeple did.

            Jul 25, 2018 25:41 AM

Ron is a very decent human being.

I said what I said because, for some reason, nothing has changed on the national level for the past 13 or so years.

The Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity is a worth organization as is The Mises Institute.

The meetings that they put on around the country seems to me to be more “preaching to the choir.”

How about not just preaching but instigating change? Who knows maybe Rand can accomplish that.

What I am saying Mr. Tracy is that “positive action is definitely louder than just words. Don’t you agree?

            Jul 25, 2018 25:19 AM

Knowledge is absolutely everything, Al, and no one in the last decade+ has done more to wake up the sheep than Ron Paul. Not one person has even come close to what he has accomplished yet 90% of the population will still never vote for anyone who tells the truth.

            Mencken was right:
“Democracy too is a religion. It is the worship of jackals by jackasses.”

            Bastiat was right:
“Everyone wants to live at the expense of the state. They forget that the state lives at the expense of everyone.”

Ron Paul understood that winning an election is meaningless if the voters don’t know anything. So he focused on teaching.

And why have I given up? Same old story with no solutions since I met him over ten years ago.

          No solutions??? WTF???

How about ending the insane wars, ending the Fed, ending the insane spending and borrowing and mind-boggling deficits and ending the micromanagement of our lives by these criminals in DC, ending the police state laws to name a few of the things Ron Paul has been trying to get people like you to pay attention to. He has been educating and advocating for liberty for over 40 years.

You must not have been listening or paying attention all these years.

        Jul 25, 2018 25:17 AM

That’s an interesting comment Al. You gave up on Ron Paul, yet not the feckless politicians that have populated Washington for many decades! You are a self-proclaimed “political junkie”, which implies that you have an affinity for these objectively bad people and you have given up on the one guy that has been consistently principled, moral and right thinking. I think you should have quit on all of the other politicians first!

          Jul 25, 2018 25:20 AM

          +1
          It’s mind-boggling, isn’t it?

            Jul 25, 2018 25:01 PM

I guess if you advocate for liberty, peace and prosperity for over 40 years and even create an institute you must have no solutions.

Sometimes we get the Korelin Economic Report…other times we get the Corleone Economic Report…I’m guessing Mr. Big Al Korelin must have recently read some neocon anti-Paul propaganda.
