Dave Erfle joins me today for a close look at the GDX daily chart. While gold stocks are still in a short term correction there are some near term price levels to watch that if broken will open up a little more downside. We also discuss news out of Eclipse Gold Mining (TSX.V:EGLD) and the trading that is occurring today.

Jim Willie has a take on the BS……of both…….
Care Act to fund the economy ,……for the fake virus scheme..was….proposed funding was done LAST YR.

        Jun 16, 2020 16:11 PM

I posted and marked the tape in the last section………GOVT.Players are BEYOND CORRUPT….

        Jun 16, 2020 16:38 PM

        Jerry,

What do you mean that the Cares Act to fund the economy was proposed last year? Are you referring to H.R.748 – CARES Act which was originally the Middle Class Health Benefits Tax Repeal Act of 2019 which had nothing to do with the CARES Act until March of 2020.

          Jun 17, 2020 17:19 AM

See my note, on prior section…………thanks for the comment……

            Jun 17, 2020 17:26 AM

The DATE……..is what Willie was referring ……in response to your question and rebuttal on the other section.
            01/24/2019 House Introduced in House
Go to the govt site, and search ALL THE ACTIONS……
I said, I would look into your question…..

            Jun 17, 2020 17:29 AM

Please note, ………I am not defending Jimmy Willie, …I just thought it was good info. connecting the Corrupt Govt……and yes, we have a Corrupt Govt. filled with corrupt politicians.
They come out of their hidy holes daily……

            Jun 17, 2020 17:16 AM

One only……needs to look at the fake lock down to see the obvious …..

            Jun 17, 2020 17:14 AM

Yes, the Middle Class Health Benefits Tax Repeal Act of 2019 was introduced on 01/24/2019.

All that did at the time was to repeal the excise tax on employer-sponsored health care coverage for which there is an excess benefit (high-cost plans).

It originally had nothing to do with the CARES Act until in March of 2020 when the CARES Act was added to the Middle Class Health Benefits Tax Repeal Act of 2019.

All one has to do is read each Summary of H.R.748 to see that the CARES Act was not added until 03/25/2020.

            Jun 17, 2020 17:16 AM

Yes, the government is corrupt but so is everyone else.

            Jun 17, 2020 17:43 AM

            Everyone…….is stretching it………….. 🙂
            Unless you mean a sinner…….. 🙂

            Jun 17, 2020 17:59 AM

            I FIND THIS COMPLETELY STRANGE………
            SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the “Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and
Economic Security Act” or the “CARES Act”.

            Jun 17, 2020 17:32 AM

The short titles are not strange. In 2019 for the House of Representatives they were:

            Short Titles as Passed House
Middle Class Health Benefits Tax Repeal Act of 2019

            Short Titles as Introduced
Middle Class Health Benefits Tax Repeal Act of 2019

The short titles in March of 2020 for the Senate were:

            CARES Act
Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act

Here is the original text of H.R.748 which was Introduced in House on 01/24/2019. Nothing in there about the CARES Act.

            https://www.congress.gov/bill/116th-congress/house-bill/748/text/ih

            Jun 17, 2020 17:39 AM

I can see after review……..that Willie may have been confused, ……the “BILL”….started out one NAME, then CHANGED….
Seems we know about the covid 19 , being mentioned in other areas in 2019…..but, that is a topic for another time.

            Jun 17, 2020 17:51 AM

“Middle Class Health “….the bill’s name is a joke……….no wonder they changed it…

The FED.printed $3Trillion, with the TBTF getting the bulk…. That is not MIDDLE CLASS, I think they got the Middle finger fate award…… 🙂

            Jun 19, 2020 19:04 PM

You are correct jmiiller. The Middle Class Health Benefits Tax Repeal Act was transformed into CARES Act in 2020.

            Jun 19, 2020 19:41 PM

That is correct Paul. Too bad people do not check things out. Instead they are lazy and just believe what some silly conspiracy theorist says.

First effective drug for Covid-19 is dexamethasone .

      Jun 16, 2020 16:14 PM

Hydroxychloroqine with zinc and Zpac anibiotic works perfectly as a therapuetic treatment for Covid. It is being poopood by NIH/FDA because it exists and is cheap, so big pharma can’t profit from it. The truuth is out there, but finding it involves work.

        Just Truth:
The timing of administration of Hydro and Zinc is crucial. Most studies completely have missed the mark. I refer to Chris Martensen with his degree in Pathology.

    interestingly:

Dexamethasone is a synthetic glucocorticoid that binds the human glucocorticoid receptor with a higher affinity than a natural ligand, cortisol (Kd = 5 nM versus 17 nM, respectively).1 Through receptor activation, dexamethasone has both transactivating and transrepressing effects on gene expression, producing, in general, anti-inflammatory results.2

Galiano Gold (GAU) – Turnaround Story. Creating Cash, Not just Mining Ounces

    CRUX Investor – June 12, 2020 #VIDEO

“Interview with Greg McCunn, CEO of Galiano Gold (TSX/NYSE:GAU)”

“Galiano Gold (formerly Asanko Gold) is a mid-tier gold producer with an operating gold mine in Ghana: Asanko. The mine is owned and operated in a 50:50 JV with Gold Fields Limited (JSE, NYSE: GFI). It is large scale and started producing in 2016, but a recent tactical shift has been something of a game-changer. Galiano Gold has gone from focussing on building the resource as large as possible to now placing an emphasis on sustainable cash flow and incremental growth through rapid fully-funded exploration.”

The Chinese Are Buying Distressed Gold Assets, and Are Willing To Pay A Good Premium

    by @Samson Li on 14 Jun 2020

“In the last month or so, two Chinese mining companies have made overseas acquisitions that have shocked the market. Both acquisitions involved the Chinese buying gold assets in the American continent. In May, Shandong Gold announced its intention to buy TMAC in a $168 million deal. Then just last week, Zijin emerged to become the highest bidder for the highly sort after Guyana Goldfields, offering C $1.85 per share, which is equivalent to $239 million. Both are all cash deals. In this article we share some background stories of these deals after talking to different people in the mining circle, and provide our thoughts on these transactions.”

Chinese are dumping bonds,……I have read, so why not pick up some real deals… 🙂

        Jun 17, 2020 17:03 AM

Yep, they are bargain hunting and buying companies of value. Can’t say that I blame them for scooping up deals on long life Precious Metals companies that will be producing Gold far into the future.
