Yes, there are some bad apples. There will always be some bad apples, but you should not throw away a perfectly good truck load of apples because of a few rotten ones here and there; eliminate the bad ones.
Further, the biggest help any parent can be to their children is “do not be disrespectful to the police. Listen and obey their instructions.” Police and goverment have power and control by use of power. Disrespect that use of power; whether used rightly or wrongly, it is the individual that will lose. Seek justice afterwards.
Obviously, also, many police must be working with an element of fear at times. They would not be human beings if they did not have an element of fear. As long as individuals obey police instructions, there is less chance of a policeman being provoked into unwarranted actions.

I disagree with many things that Larry says, but in this case I will take the side of CFS and say that he is probably correct. I say this because much of the goodness of the America that I grew up in simply does not exist today. Manipulation of the non-thinking people is rampant and successful in many cases. I watched the video. I stay away from congested areas and highly populated areas. I have started the Foundation with the Birnbaum family because I think that it is the most effective action that I can take. Realistically, a 76 year old man can accomplish absolutely nothing by taking physical action. I will say that the idea about the “bums rush” is something that I would definitely have been a part of. First off, wearing a mask can help to reduce the transmission of the virus. The question is how well do they work and what types of masks work the best and when should a mask be worn and when should one not have to be worn. Just last week I was at home and was sitting at the computer. Of course I did not have a mask on. I have allergies. I had to sneeze and I put my hand up to my mouth and when I sneezed my hand became wet from the spray. Now I know if I had a mask on my hand would not have got wet. So I know if I had COVID-19 and I was around people, then wearing a mask certainly would have helped if I sneezed or even coughed. That is all the evidence I need. I read plenty of articles from medical experts that say mask do work to help reduce the transmission but they correctly acknowledge that the effectiveness is limited. I was at the doctor’s office several weeks ago. The doctor and staff were wearing masks as was the few patients that were there. For all to be wearing a mask in that environment makes perfect sense. The same would be true of a dentist or barber or someone who is very close to others for an extended period of time.
While wearing a mask certainly can help to reduce the transmission of COVID-19 in certain situations, the most effective way seems to be limiting large gatherings and practicing social distancing especially indoors.

I looked at enough data. And I spend 3 hours a day reading ALT media sites. Some of the articles from the ALT media are BS from mask deniers who deny any benefits of wearing a mask and overstate what little risk there is to wearing one. Sorry but everything I said above is true. You, yourself, a week or so ago even agreed that wearing a mask could help to prevent the spread. What numbers are you talking about? Deaths? I am not talking about deaths. Just the simple fact that wearing a mask could help to limit the spread of the virus in certain situations. That social distancing helps. After studying mask data, I believe this mask-wearing is little more than officials making believe they are “doing something”.
Yes, masks are relevant. I wear an N95 mask (one with no valve) since I have diabetes. I have a pulse oximeter that was my father’s who died of emphysema. I see no decrease in the oxygen level in my blood when I wear a mask for short periods of time (20 minutes or so of just walking and standing). I have read however that wearing a N95 mask for more than several hours over a period of weeks might cause health concerns. If your saying that masks typically reduced O2 by a few percent, well that is nothing to worry about then.
As far as turning away from others when you sneeze, sure you usually do but do not forget about the virus particles that could remain in the air for a short period of time which someone might come in contact with or might land on a highly touch surface. I believe wearing a mask does help to reduce the amount of particles somewhat, especially for sneezes and coughs. This would be important if you are around older people or people that have underlying health problems.

When it comes to Sweden, they did not allow large gatherings and they practiced social distancing. Frequent hand washing was the norm. Working at home was encouraged. A few Swedes even wore a mask at times. So it was not as if Sweden just let the virus run it’s course and did nothing. And I know for a fact in some situations wearing a mask would have reduced the possibility of getting the virus as I described such a situation above.
When it comes to the vaccine, most people I know have said they will not take it. Undoubtedly it will have to be forced upon most people.
I think you meant to say if I want to wear a mask if there is a legitimate risk of contracting COVID-19, do it.

Wearing a little harmless thing as a mask is not the same thing as getting a vaccine that has not thoroughly been tested. Some of the people I know, who are dead set against getting the vaccine, will not do it. They will not let their children take it. Not everyone puts making money before the safety of their family.

I tend to over-react at times.
While long-term side effects of covid-19 are not known, two facts are well established:
1. The virus has mutated several times and the current dominant strain is less lethal than the original one, which appears to no longer dominate.
2. The lethality of the original virus is much less lethal than the average influenza virus for almost all people. (For school age children less lethal by over an order of magnitude.)
The exceptions to “all people” are the elderly and those with existing illnesses. We can and should protect this minor subset, but anything ordered on the general public is, in my opinion, merely a display of government power, not an action in the best interests of the people.
If government actually wants to act in the interest of the people it should talk about immune boosting and use of zinc, Vitamin C and D, etc.

But I trust if a business or restaurant says you must wear a mask to enter, that you will agree that is their right to do so. Would you agree that a business has the right to require people who enter wear a mask since there is a real health concern, even if it is small?

It also appears to be under the mistaken belief that the President of the U.S. is elected by the people and that all votes must be counted. This is not actuaaly true under the Constitution……read the Constitution, paying attention to the 12th amendment.

In the Constitution an “elector” is a member of the college of electors not simply a “voter” in the general election.
And going back 60 years to my schoolday learning of history, from my memory, there were about 5 times, mostly in the late nineteenth century, when totalling the general election voting was incomplete, and yet presidents were always elected.

Before the Covid ordeal, most every Country in the World was drowning in a sea of debt.
For me the most irriatating thing is the innability of the populace to focus on this.
Those who have benefitted from this system and continue to do so would rather not see it change.IMHO. Case in point, the elimination of the Usury laws.
For me, this was an inconveinient truth that was revealed once I started to understand the machinations of the financial system.
I stopped yesterday and talked to people who were holding signs saying all lives matter.
$100 says 75% of all the people there were collecting Social Security.What a F*ckin joke.
IMHO people are about to get everything they deserve for turning a blind eye.
