Here is a succinct explanation of what The Birnbaum Korelin Judeo Christian Foundation for Equality in America firmly believes.
Big Al, When I was in Germany long ago, I frequently heard people say something like “If there is a God, why does he let bad things happen? (referring to the tragedies of the recent WWII).
I believe the answer is best articulated by a very wise individual as follows:
“Was it the Lord who directed the plane into the mountain to snuff out the lives of its occupants, or were there mechanical faults or human errors? Did our Father in Heaven cause the collision of the cars that took six people into eternity, or was it the error of the driver who ignored safety rules?
Did God take the life of the young mother or prompt the child to toddle into the canal or guide the other child into the path of the oncoming car? Did the Lord cause the man to suffer a heart attack? Answer if you can. I cannot, for though I know God has a major role in our lives, I do not know how much he causes to happen and how much he merely permits…
Could the Lord have prevented these tragedies? The answer is yes. The Lord is omnipotent, with all power to control our lives, save us pain, prevent all accidents, feed us, protect us, save us from labor, effort, sickness, even from death, if he will. But he will not. The basic gospel law is agency and eternal development. To force us to be careful or righteous would be to nullify that fundamental law and make growth impossible.”
Reading his words helps us to know the why. Knowing we are free to choose, really places the responsibility on us, as mortals, to try to contribute to have things in the world go as they should, but negative things will always happen so long as we, as flawed individuals, are at the helm.
With all the calamities we see before our eyes around the world, it should remind us all who have eyes to see and ears to hear to do what we can to help things be as they should. Big Al, your efforts are in line with this, along with all who make a positive contribution to enhance what could be, rather than complain about things as they are.

You will realize that if this is the chosen land, for the chosen people, either God has a tremendous sense of humor, or he/she is not personal god.
I still believe mankind is best served by law and order and living by the Golden Rule.

I’m not sure what I am missing? Last year this time President Trump had roughly 75 million followers on his Twitter feed, I understand it is now over 85 million. The far left and right (Marxist, Fascists) should be looking at this as an erosion of their following, not to mention 20-30 million voters in the middle of which The President will probably get half of them to vote for hi. I suspect Trump, as evidenced by sending Federal troops and signing an executive order for vandals of federal property to get a minimum of 10 years, retroactive, is the only visible politician to stand for law & order. I believe approximately 105 million voted in 2016. I am stunned at the # of leftists who blame everything on President Trump especially insurrection & vandalism that comes under the jurisdiction of Mayors & Governors. I worry for my family that lives on the outskirts of LA!
