Here is what I am now doing to stay in touch with the investment community and keep a clear head at the same time. I would suggest that some of you consider the same thing.
When I am as involved in political issues as I have been it is difficult to get away from constant negativity and anger. That anger has gotten too close to home. I have learned some things about people near and dear to me that I wished I had never found out about because ignorance would have been bliss as they say.
My friends and colleagues are intelligent people. About five years ago my best friend and former business partner (Considered to be “Uncle Ken” to my girls told me that he was cancelling all his subscriptions and turning off the Tv for good.
I criticized him and said that with his intelligence he could make a real difference in America and he should join me in my endeavor to do that. His response turned out to be completely correct. “You are being too idealistic he said. The other side” side is too well organized; too well financed; and much less scrupulous. The final point was proven during the past year when people were killed during riots.
Our former president had many correct ideas, but his personality made it almost impossible to “sell” any of these ideas to the electorate. Are we as American citizens any better off today that we were last Summer when we witnessed looting and killing in our streets? Most people would scream a resounding Yes”! Those are the people who will be receiving huge “stimulus checks” It is like a game of Monopoly, Irish. It is not really money and shortly when that becomes a known fact our once great country could very well slip into the abyss.
Everything and especially a financial system must be based on something substantial, and I am afraid that, at least in my opinion, most of the Western World is based on platitudes that are meaningless. I think that fact is the reason that there is so much anger expressed on our Blog.
On a completely different note, people tell me that our Blog is comprised of crazy people. My reply is the concept of crazy is in the eye of the beholder. I would stack up any of you against any of your critics and I guarantee that your right hands would be raised in the air at the end of the combat or at the very least it would be declared a draw so that a riot would not ensue instigated by your critics who proved during the past year violence is their chosen form of response when they completely miss your point or at the very least refuse to think about it.
BACK IN AN HOUR OR SO. I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON THIS COMMENT FOR ABOUT THREE HOURS. I HAVE MUCH MORE TO SAY BUT I NEED A RECESS!
Al, your nation will never be able to experience internal peace until you demobilize your troops and bring them home from foreign lands. When you have foreign wars you think with the mind of people at war. You learn to strike and not negotiate, you learn to argue and hate. Why do you think there is so much distrust and dissension in America. America longs for peace and healing but you will never have that when you destroy other countries with your military and bring needless pain to American families when the troops return home demoralized and physically wounded. Can’t you see your whole nation is suffering from war neurosis. DT

Al, Americans like you believe you are number 1, Americans have such huge egos that they aren’t tolerant of other nations who do not submit to the doctrine of “Do as I say not as I Do”. If Americans wanted peace they would stop trying to enforce their will on other nations militarily. That has been the case since the end of The Second World War. You Al, refuse to see the obvious. DT
Here is an interessting story. Kathy and I were sitting on English Bay one night in 1995 and I made the comment that I would really like to raise our girls in Canada because I thought that it was a better place to raise kids. She agreed with me. At the time we had a great house in Sourthwest Washington with a 10,000 square foot lot about 2100 square feet; beautiful landscaping with a custom hot tub and all the bells and whistles in a great neighborhood. I paid $125K for the house. Needless to say that house in Canada was selling for about $800K in a similar location. Guess what we did not move?

I do ok…I have a routine with occasional modifications and I just follow it…I hope you will somehow adopt one also maybe w help from the Popper outfit?….Just stay busy…..Al, it will be simple eventually…:::.We all need healthful nutrition…Some supplements ….some daily detox protocol to rejuvenate….Try to minimize pharma pills…..eat less and drink more water……That is a great base….No despair….

Al, please don’t be offended because it’s just my suspicion and observations. Al, we are borrowing our way to prosperity to support our economy. How long can this go on without serious repercussions. We are facing the largest monumental bubble in history and we’re living off bubble assets. We’re going to have a reset and it’s not going to be desirable for the average person. We’re definitely on a death spiral and that’s fairly terminal when the dollar collapses. Interest rates will soar to protect the dollar and then you’re going to have a mayhem social catastrophe. Unless they decide to let the dollar completely collapse and everything you buy will be exorbitant beyond our wildest imaginations. So either way it’s going to be mayhem. Although, everyone’s divorced from reality and any kind of realistic measures is in famine right now. Not only that we have treasonous politicians who are being greased by the Chinese. It’s terminal.
10,000 steps is great…call that exercise only but of course keeping the engine revved up keeps the metabolism working more optimally including detox…but actual detox is a specific attempt to rejuvenate key organs like brain, liver, kidney, joints etc….and of course removal of toxins helps in that goal and also in reducing general inflammation which causes our aches and pains….we are all toxic in this world due to food, air, soil etc..toxic exposure and we may all benefit by the detox process….
I am not an invester , but based on what i can see in the future , if i was to start investing. Then the company’s i would be looking at would be …Food/Water/ & Energy.
These are the things , the People of the world… “NEED” on a daily basis.

So, what are the implications of borrowing your way to prosperity ? Now taking it a step further, living off bubble assets ?
Furthermore, universal basic income is now becoming normal with unemployment benefits being extended to infinity. Not to mention all the stimulus money with individual payments to citizens unless they have a large income. This is the new norm and more is on the way. Our Southern border now has been compromised opened up to anyone that just wants to walk in and they too will be on government support. This could also bring down labor costs flooding our economy with more immigrants thereby supporting the dollar. Although, all these people that are coming in could opt out and go on this universal basic income that’s being produced with unemployment benefits. Not to mention the food stamp program that is being abused as well. Our last president said that he was afraid that we were going to become a socialist Nation. We’ve been socialist for a very long time that’s what kills me. He also said 2 years ago we had no inflation and we should lower the interest rates to zero. What ? That’s History now, absolutely no leadership. There’s much more however we’ve been on a collision course for a very long time.
No one wants to seem to address this either that’s being completely neglected with distorted toxic policies before covid-19 borrowing more money in regards to our national debt. Pork belly spending like there’s never going to be any consequences.
Then add in all these other perverted policies extending forbearance and moratoriums on paying rent to landlords large and small. This alone could spark a revolution of serious consequences.
By the way, some people refuse to face reality failing to recognize the serious consequences this nation faces and waving the American flag in your face in retaliation like everything’s going to be fine. America’s indestructible and not accountable to any sound policies.

Some people are dressed up polished ready to go all the time. Others are casual so just all depends but you definitely can’t be wearing your rolexes and your gold chains and everything that people do.
So if you’re a rapper fan or a homie with some great big gold chains and heavy gold Rolex watches having a waterproof box sealed and then you can do some midnight gardening if you know what I mean. Wise to map out everything with multiple sites too on paper of all the locations with phiz storage. So many feet from this tree etc where everything is being stored and keep it a safe place and don’t lose it.💰🏦◀️◀️◀️👍👍 It’s strategic. Your banking !!!

On another note. Like one analyst said few years back. America is going to go out like a shooting star. We are seeing that today in spades. They have no choice but to create more debt into existence to keep this bubble going. Anyway, there’s no way this can go on very much longer without a dollar collapse and interest rates going through the roof. Essentially, we are now a Banana Republic. It’s official. That’s what happens to banana republics. Interest rates must rise substantially in order to have any kind of purchasing power with the currency. They borrow their way to prosperity. OOTB Jerry, precisely and it’s impossible to time but it’s coming down the tracks real quick now. Also, regarding jewelry there’s a lot more. I grew up in the seventies and the eighties so best time of my life. Lived like a Hollywood movie star. Friends galore and phone rang off the hook. I get anxious just thinking about it if I could ever go back. Last 10 years though that’s not the case it’s been pretty quiet and you can’t take all the excitement anymore. Growing old gracefully.
Kind of an interesting observation the stimulous and other forms of welfare:
On Friday, I realized that I physically could not do some “handyman type chores on our home. I called numerous people and was refused because no one wanted to the type of work that was involved in cleaning my deck.
I finally offered a kid $75 an hour to help me. He came by on Saturday and did a really great job. I told him that I would be back in a few hours with the cash. I came back and he had done twice the work and accepted only $75 because he said he felt that was more than fair. Go figure!
Al, Doc was having problems too with his gardener with some landscaping projects he said the other day. You didn’t do too bad Al. Most independent handyman and contractors would have charged a fee for traveling trip charges and then of course the labor for it so 75 bucks aint bad at all I think you did real well. Especially if the gentleman was nice and everything went well which it sounds like it did it’s well worth it. When I first saw that amount that you paid it sounded like a lot of money however it really isn’t when you look at realistically the trip charges and all that. It was very reasonable in my opinion anyway because I’ve done a lot of hiring and I would have been very pleased. Also forgot to mention that there’s always a minimum for any job. You got your money’s worth no doubt.

Really all that it is, in my opinion, is an effective campaign tactic for the next couple of elections. The best part for the Liberals is that the organization does not have to pay for it. Speaking of Former President Clinton, are you aware that he was not a hearty proponent of welfare. I did some research on Saturday and uncovered some facts which lead me to that conclusion. See below for the exact quote:

Al, I noticed you have high core principal values with regards to many matters and subjects including demoralizing others. I’m the same way as you stated regarding your dealings with this laborer or independent contractor. I’m always very friendly, professional and transparent with all my projects that need to be completed. If there’s complications and adjustments I’m always very reasonable with all of them and more than happy to pay them what they deserve.
Moving onward with this conversation we do have a society that’s completely compromised with any kind of reasonable character behaviors that would be described as degenerate. There’s significantly more to discuss on this subject but there’s not much time here because it’s already going to be a long message.
In fact, I might continue this message a little later if you don’t mind and then we can bring it all to conclusion. I’m just expressing my opinions and other than that it all means nothing.
Slick willy, I really liked him because he did have our national debt financial checks and balances interest in high priority. Mostly, haven’t taken any polls but I think that’s something that no one has giving him high marks and credit for. President Clinton did an exceptional job in that regard. The 1990s were difficult however we all came through it and we had a much better country with solid balance sheets and finances. That’s the last time this nation was exceptional when I came to a balanced budget. Those apples I liked a lot.
Some of the bad apples that were really bad with the Clintons they turned over strategic top secret military classified information to the Chinese. As far as I know and understood through all the media etc. LOTS OF BAD APPLES THERE.
As far as the rest of the Clinton years go as far as accomplishments including welfare and everything that part I never followed.
Al, you’re much more advanced and intellectual much more than I. Biden is a big accident waiting to happen in my opinion and it’s the pedal to the metal with welfare and all these pork belly programs free handouts etc stimulus looks like it’s going to go on forever.
CFS, is very proactive is following all these toxic policies fairly closely and posting on all the forums. Everyone should be very concerned and not be too naive because it snowballing out of control these treasonous politicians.

Although it’s hard not to follow all the toxic policies and unethical standards fraudulent practices has been plaguing this nation for quite a while. Appreciate all your comments and information. No, America is not indestructible. Our “politicians”, for the most part are corrupt and lazy.
They will take the easy route and print money…… More and more money at an increasing rate. Were it not for similar behavior in many countries the dollar would have already fallen.
Wait until the moratorium on eviction for non-payment of rent ends and people find them selves on the street.
Politicians will find themselves at an end to buying votes with tax-payers money.

There is a current moritorium banning eviction of tenants for non-payment of rent.
That cannot continue forever, since it will bankrupt lordlords.
But currently banks cannot foreclose a mortgage for non-payment.
Likewise that cannot continue indefinitely.
They will probable both end simultaneoiusly.
Then tshtf moment will make us realize the true impact on the economy of the shut-downs.

You can get a lot of pay if you just work the system that’s what everybody’s doing. All kinds of free money available through the SBA and taking a salary if you’re savvy enough to incorporate and then go on unemployment getting money up till like even a thousand dollars a week or more. I’m not participating in that kind of action however it looks fairly easy to do.

Al, it’s really a shame that we don’t have a society that acts out responsibly we wouldn’t be in this mess right now. It’s all about the greed though that’s what happens. I’ll tell you what, I experience some really bad dealings with people and it can get really ugly. I have just learned over the years not get too anxious to hire anyone and do your due diligence before you end up with a bad day and a whole bad deal with altercations with people. Loss of time etc it’s just a complete nuisance and nightmare. I have some stories to tell you that people that were so unreasonable you would think they were from another civilization somewhere. Briefly, I had one guy that told me I should go out and adjust the sprinklers because he didn’t want to get wet and I was going to pay him. That was one of the worst experiences though but it’s bizarre out there. Although I had a costly situation laying Stone floors in a property and the mud wasn’t under the stone tiles properly. They were very large and it was hollow. This was a guy was working with for years and he did that to me and it was a real costly situation spent about $5,000 strategically pulling them out without damaging the others and I was with another crew I was on my hands and knees trying to save the job would have cost me $20,000 to replace it all. Could have been much more with all the demo because it would have been a real disaster. You got to be careful and the guy was on unlicensed I was saving a lot of money he was doing a great job on everything even remodeling bathrooms in new properties to get them up to prestigious quality and that’s what happens though you need to follow up with everybody and make sure it’s being done properly. I’d buy all the materials Rock bottom wholesale prices and bring everything up to the luxury quality. Very inexpensively. At least a 50% savings over any contractor that would charge. It all worked out for years except for that one job. Took about 2 weeks to get it all settled out and I was very perplexed having to possibly demo the whole floor. Was about 4,000 square feet of stone floors 18×18 in that one property
My major emotion is not anger, but sorrow. I am so sad that we appear to have passed the point of no return. Many people no longer listen to rational argument and reason.

Leave it to the leaders of our nation and we didn’t have good leadership last time because they were all pumping the paper markets and sound honest money is always brushed under the carpet. Anyway, I don’t trust coin dealers at all they are the most corrupt bunch of people in business that I’ve ever encountered. There’s some good ones out there but very rarely you get honest representation and business transactions. I have some horror stories to tell you but I’ll leave it there because it’s unbelievable what these crooks can do. I came out of it but had to call the police department one time and they decided to make me whole. Companies you would probably know. I did real well on them but it was a real hassle and I don’t want to ever go through that again. And no, I wasn’t losing it because they wanted to take my coins and never give them back to me again worth a fortune. Stonewalling you and making you believe that you’re going to get them back and they never do anything.
