A University of Waterloo chemistry professor gave out a course outline to students, which included a remark about COVID-19.
Michael Palmer had written that the reason his in-class exams aren’t mandatory was “because of the COVID fake emergency.”
In a statement to 570 NEWS, the university’s Dean of Science, Robert Lemieux says faculty were free to express their opinion, but it didn’t represent the school’s stance.
“The University of Waterloo respects the academic freedom of our faculty to express their opinions. This representation is not, however, shared by the University of Waterloo or the Faculty of Science. Our response to the COVID-19 pandemic will continue to be based on the best available advice from public health officials, and is intended to minimize the risk of infection and harm to our faculty, students and staff. In this case, the professor has elected to move the course online.”
Meanwhile, 570 NEWS reached out to Palmer with questions about why he chose to include the remark on a course outline to students.
It should be noted that in his email, Palmer says he has board certification as an MD in Germany, however he hasn’t received accreditation in Canada. His views expressed in his responses are not widely shared within the medical community.
In his email, Palmer claimed COVID-19 was not nearly as dangerous as other have said it was, and that it wasn’t any deadlier than the flu.

While I have not kept up with my dead languages I do try to read a few novels a year in French and in German, so I can still fairly easily read those

Big Al and Jim, it was reported by Glenn Beck on his program that when the Afghan president learned the Taliban was ready to enter the palace grounds and the his life was in danger he fled and didn’t bother to call his own vice president or the US.
When the Taliban came to the outskirts of Kabul, it was the Taliban that called Biden and gave Biden the option to have the US control the chaos in Kabul during the evacuation or they would control It, and Biden was quoted on the phone call as saying “go for it”, giving the Taliban permission to control the city.
This is like inviting the fox to enter in the chicken coop and allowing the fox to control the safety of the chickens. If this report is accurate it alone is a basis for the president to be impeached for dereliction of duty and placing the US and its citizens in direct danger or to invoke the 25th amendment for his obvious mental deficiencies.
Either Biden is mentally compromised sufficiently that he is not in command of his decisions or those about him are making the decisions, either way, those responsible need to be adjudicated for their behavior. Whoever has made these decisions and had power to implement them have blood on their hands, for the disaster never needed to happen. At any time, Biden could have talked to the Taliban and told them if they entered Kabul and started taking over the US would bomb the embassy they took over with them in it and decapitate their leadership, as well as all the Taliban that are now exposed in the streets and not hiding in caves.
