What is an American and what are their values?
Take Ihan Omar for example. How long has she been a U.S Citizen ? How does someone who recently immigrates to the U S get to make policy ?
I for one do not believe these people have the same values as the majority of the U S population that have been here for generations.
I will also point out that to discuss Liberal Democracy, A historical context should be established. Say back to the 1940’s. There is a lot more to Liberal Democracy than Covid and Fauci.

The reason I bring this up is that my view of war after watching my best friend die a slow miserable death after being hosed with agent orange in Viet Nam as well as seeing people I know come back from Iraq and Afghanistan with PTSD, as a Vet myself, is going to be different then people who have no personal experience what this is all about.
These new immigrants need to have a little more skin in the game.
