11. Assassination of our political leaders and gross stripping the Constitutional Rights of Americans through lies and illegal Acts of Congress.

My apologies, I never did listen to the editorial however the statement above caught my attention. Amen !

We live in a society that’s primarily dominated by selfishness, greed and self-centeredness.

Thank you for leading society and others in the right direction in a world that fails to maintain high core principal values and morals. Our society wouldn’t be facing dire consequences if everyone stopped complaining, pointing fingers and we’re good examples. It’s the people that need to be good examples. Unfortunately, the populous is moving in the opposite direction.

This is for CFS in response to yesterday’s editorial: CFS (summarized) argument – a small group of elites would rule better than stupid people, who don’t deserve to lead themselves.

I argue this is elitist, and exactly the problem we face in the elitist world governed by tech moguls and corrupt politicians. Our constitution and founding fathers knew this – and they believed everyone, including stupid people, deserve a voice, and that the arguments of truth will help them learn, and moral compass will keep them good – problem is we are losing morals and truth to the elitists.

I also argue the nature of man will always lead to corruption if not kept in check, and an elite group will succumb to self-interest over the individual.

That needs to be clarified. I was referring to a humanitarian effort “helping others” with no monetary gain or financial attachment whatsoever.

My interpretation was a humanitarian effort when you’re referring to “helping others.” If someone’s benefiting from the help, you’re no different than anyone else out there.
