All this was done in the “green” name of reducing global warming. Have you any idea how complex the concepts involved in global warming ACTUALLY ARE ? It involves the effect of carbon dioxide on the equilibrium of heat transfer between the sun and the earth. The sun radiates particles and heat at wide spectrum of wave lengths and the earth absorbs and reflects these in regions of its atmosphere and land mass which are at varying temperatures and compositions: a highly complex calculation, prone to error of omitting one mode or another in the modelling.
(And so far, NO MODEL HAS SUCCESSFULLY PREDICTED ACTUAL RESULTS.)

Nevertheless, based on a religious belief of unproven green modelling, Biden reduction in energy production had the consequence of a doubling of oil and gas prices.
In a rich country like the USA this causes a reduction in production of goods, including food, which is painful, but hardly life-threatening. However, in India or Africa, where life at the margin is extremely difficult, a decrease in food production can literally mean starvation.
Almost EVERY ACTION taken by Biden so far HAS BEEN BAD and simply not thought though as to consequences.
