Republicans have not learned their lesson. After years of disappointing their voters by siding with Democrats to their detriment, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is doubling down on the losing strategy.
McConnell has reportedly agreed to vote with Democrats for sweeping gun control legislation, Breitbart reported. Previously, the Kentucky Republican had tapped Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) to craft a bipartisan version of the legislation.

Couple points, no mention of Russia moving under article 51 of the UN charter, no big deal, the west doesnt like people knowing that.
That was after 8 years attempting peace and 14000 Ukrainian people killed by Ukrainians.
Another intersting thing, turbines for nordstream 1 are not being serviced due to sanctions.
So, Russia decided to reduce energy shipments to Germany by 40%

I listened to the conversation about Ukraine, I cant say I agree with much said but at least a conversation has finally begun.
The events in the Ukraine have the most important consequences happening right now, bar none.
My first point is that there was (surprise, no western media does) any mention of Russia moving in accordance with article 51 of the UN charter.
This after 8 years of attempting peace and 14,000 Ukrainian people killed by the Ukrainian military.
There were many issues not mentioned but the 40% reduction of energy to Germany could be more significant to the west than the new currency system being implimented.
imo this is going to cause severe loss of employment,recession,depression and much higher inflation,
In the west, the east is going to enjoy low energy prices and the benifits for some time.

Recently, states, countries, etc. have been issuing longer term bonds.
The jump in interest rates is a problem……for a very long term bond, a doubling of the the interest rate yield implies a halving of the asset value.
With the drop in the stock market, and a drop in bond values, many pension funds are in DEEP TROUBLE.
The pension funds and insurance companies that play ball the right way and stop being communist will be just fine. However, the central banks that
“used to” issue the paper controlling pension funds are toast! It’s game over for them.
The 10 year notes that Deutsche bank use to issue paid back 7% per year. The 10 year treasury bond pays back 3.5% every 6 months. Or, 7% per year.
The pension funds will be fine. The banks are Fawked!
The biggest paradigm shift in history is about to be underway. And the ten year bond paying back 3.5% is just one of the huge signals. Another huge signal is the parity of the EUR/USD. Big stuff on tap for the markets!
