Given that Indianapolis is fairly central in Indiana, one also has to ask why someone from Ohio would choose to travel the extra miles involved….There are a significant number of hospitals and abortion clinics in cities close to the Indiana-Ohio border.
Since rhe pregnancy was said to be due to rape, I have to question WHY THE LONG WAIT before abortion. (2 days beyond a legal abortion in Ohio) Why no use of day-after pill right after rape?
