Ed Moya, Senior Market Analyst at OANDA joins us to recap the jobs data from Friday and to look ahead to the inflation number this week. All the economic data carries over to Fed policy expectations which then guilds risk tolerance for investors. A more risk-on move has been seen in the markets for over a month now. We discuss the general pullback in the US Dollar and uptick in Bitcoin. Still though very few are thinking the true lows are in for markets.
Yo, folks, the gloves are off. No sooner do Dems pass their garbage spending bill, an army of FBI agents invade Trump’s Mara Largo
I would not think a Federal Judge would put himself in jeopardy of prosecution by signing an improper search warrant of the home of a former President. It would indicate that there is sufficient probable cause for a search warrant but does not mean the results of a search warrant justifies an indictment. Too early at this point to draw any conclusions other than there was sufficient information to justify a search warrant … sufficient to search the home of a Former President (which would be stronger than what it would take for an average person as a mistake is not acceptable). Don’t read too much into it at this point.
Try to remember that “no one is above the law” and this “procedural” matter is consistent with the Law under our Constitution.
So it must be serious if a judge signs off? You are aware that judges on the FISA court signed off on 4 separate affidavits, MARKED VERIFIED, and signed/submitted by FBI Director JAMES COMEY and another FBI executive to start the illegal surveillance of the Trump campaign. The judges rubber stamped the approval without any scrutiny or due diligence. So much for relying on judges to fairly consider a request from FBI or DOJ.
The upper echelons of the Justice Dept are corrupt and have lost all credibility..
It’s called 2 tier justice system. What law? I rest my case
Anyone having questions can probably just research it first. One may find it is actually the Law. It is there to protect and treat everyone equally. This particular search tends to be in accordance with the intent and spirit of the Law under our Constitutional System. We must wait and see what they find ….
Additional Protections: if indicted, a person may challenge the Search Warrant at “Suppression Hearing” before trial. If successful, all evidence obtained in an illegal search cannot be used at trial. If used at trial, it could be a mistrial or if on appeal, reversed for new trial. Don’t go crazy until you know the basis for being crazy is valid.
Unfortunately, the Trump debacle is already way past the point of Political Theatre. No rush to judgement, for the highest law rests in Biblical Theatre
no matter how good laws are if society entertains evil they will not be followed with impatiallity.
Steve:
That is a risk when the people choose to live in a Democracy. When evil raises its head, it must be addressed and not enabled. That is the challenge.
On the other hand, if not addressed and the Constitution is undermined, then most likely an authoritarian regime emerges and all rights of the people lost as Authoritarians resist Constitutional rule in favor of absolute control, benefitting the few.
A tyrannical “anything goes” democracy is what we have and America’s founders tried to protect against it with the constitution. Destructive infantile wishes now supersede our natural rights because the herd doesn’t know anything.
Yep. Dangerous times…

First article where it talks about The Fed’s most recent criminal activity : Standing Repo Facility.
Stack that up to Infrastructure spending.
