Ukraine can only continue the war because of support from the U.S. and the E.U. I believe that support will slowly begin to dry up. Russia has repeatedly tried to obtain a peace treaty giving them control over “Russian citizens”.
Putin KNOWS that failure to gain control over Russian speaking people in Ukraine will result in Putin being thrown out.
So the question is, “Will U.S. or Russia run out of resources first ?”
The E.U. is about to go belly up this winter and will not be a factor.
Zelensky was installed by Nuland and will receive U.S. support as long as Obama is pulling the puppet strings, but will that change after the mid-term elections ?
Will the U.S. lose capability of supplying arms to Ukraine after the mid-terms ?

Professor, anyone who wanted Russian citizenship could have moved to Russia and gotten it – but living in Ukraine’s recognized borders before 2014 meant Ukrainian citizenship – painful but that’s what happened in Estonia immediately after the fall.
I don’t believe this is about Putin heroically fighting the woke EU or NATO, it is about Putin’s survival and quest for power – but in a battle he already lost – one we all lose in the end.

I think Biden hoped Zelensky would be toast in the first three days, hoping the Burisma corruption truth would go away with Zelensky’s death – then Biden crime family could get back to business. The Biden team have just accepted reality that plan failed, and now are grifting off the MIC as a back up plan.

In Putin’s original attacks, he only used about 25% of combat forces.
Now, having used 202 missiles yesterday, Ukraine’s infrastructure was pretty much wiped out. No electricity, no water, no sewage.
Putin will now wait about a month, until the ground freezes, then Putin will bring in his main forces and wipe out the Ukrainian military….

Tulsi is a true breath of fresh air and I see politicians like her as being necessary for the safety of the world. Jim, You guys would be good running mates in my opinion as I don’t think your honesty, integrity and patriotism can be questioned. It is only my opinion, and I know no one is asking for it, but I get the impression that you keep a lot of what you think quiet to stay in the good books of the GOP upper echelon. People are starved around the world for honest politicians if they can get the messages out. Jim,she looks at the glass as half full and I’ll bet her socialist ideas are not as contrary as you might think! I think there are much bigger issues at stake. I do read the alternative media as well to get as informed opinion as possible and on Ukraine I would like to point out the obvious that Russia hardly looks like they are being annailated as was suggested 6 months ago. I think there are massive #’s of people that grew up in the golden years to find out that by deception and graft that free society no longer exists. Look at reality. Russia is still there and appears to be getting more interested in defending themselves (from their point of view) . I don’t know what the truth is but I am reminded of the king being surrounded by his advisors telling him how victorious he is and such a great king as the enemy captures him and takes him prisoner. From what I can glean It liiks like gentle escalation until late spring next year and then one or the other side is going to get really serious and I pray it doesn’t go nuclear. I believe the people know that all this government is not free but will cost the world’s citizen’s everything they have to satisfy the parasites. I love this site and like to see “real” for real!
I agree FIH, I think she is a breath of fresh air – she appears honest and true to her beliefs. I think we all are liberals when young – as they say, with a heart – but grow a brain as we age – Tulsi is definitely seeing behind the curtain. I would be with her on the team, or the battlefield.
I also agree the Russians will begin to see this as an issue of survival – that has always rallied them. But the amount of people who DON’T trust the Kremlin is obviously quite large and growing, with more young male departures than the MOD could rally as conscripts. You are right – There will be unforeseen consequences for all of this madness.
I think there will come a point where reality sets in for Putin. He cannot sustain this forever, because the West will keep printing money until collapse to pay for this war – NATO, EU, and US will use foolish MMT to outlast him, but it won’t last long – the reaper will come for all. That is my worry.
Can I suggest you start talking about the things that are wrong in the economy and I don’t mean regional things but the things that matter to everyone. Like the doomsday scenario the Fed is pursuing. that if Russia, and I point out a growing # of countries rise to join her in the quest for honest money! If over 1/2 of the world’s population sides with the East for honest money and corruption being punished then I think on this path we are doomed! For a few years and visited clubs from the Atlantic to the Pacific including Hawaii meeting some of the most incredible people on this planet. I was graced to have lunch with the last surviving aeronautical engineer named Ely of Hughe’s Aircraft. Most in California seemed to be Republicans and I know Ely could not pass a starving street puppy without knowing it went to a safe place even if he had to do it himself. Americans like him donate untold money and time without reservation to help people of the world, that includes dems too! That is the true American in my books and the one that is admired and try to emulated. That is the image of the American that has been destroyed with what is going on in today’s world! My opinion: 1.) Tulsi did this while she still has a lot of followers and an audience to make a difference – and 2.) maybe out of some political spite.
I think she did it because she truly believes in America and is a person of integrity. I think she is trying to influence the electorate to shift toward sanity. And it will likely have an impact.
She also down deep must have some bitterness from the 2016 election cycle when she backed Bernie over Hillary, and was crushed by the DNC leadership of which she was a co-chair. It was a rigged process, and woke her up – and she probably had to make a choice to join the corruption or stand against it. She chose the latter. Bravo
