Hi CFS … IMO … Jimmy will never admit that Russia , is doing better in Ukraine. When you consider Russia is fighting a proxy war against Nato The Russians are doing Bloody Great. The PROOF of the Proxy war can be seen in the amount of weapons , & so called advicers that are flowint into Ukraine , & the prommiss of even better weapons to come in the future. Remember early in the war , when Ukraine were willing to sit around the PEACE table , Recause they knew they did not have a chance against the Might of Russia.. Agree news is silenced, and propaganda is rampant – on all sides.
But “come on man” – how can anyone objectively think Russia is doing well or achieving any major strategic objectives? The loses are staggering – territory, arms, men, money, global credibility, long term energy contracts. Oh yea, NATO has expanded on Russia’s border with Finland, Russia is repositioning troops from Kaliningrad and other border areas, there is in-fighting with Russian policy leaders, and the Russian press is beginning to turn against the failures.
Yep, sounds like Russian victory. In reality, no one is winning, and no one will win this. But Putin’s Russia is the biggest loser.
And no, I won’t donate to the idiocy of this conflict.
