Pacwest bank will probably go belly-up before this week is over……4 banks down and out and about 176 to go (according to FDIC, which is estimating 180 bank failures. [behind closed doors])
In case you are worried, FDIC, FSLIC combined have enough funds to cover 1.2% of potential liabilities.
The potential area of extreme worry is that about 45-46% of problem loans are on commercial real estate, which has suffered during the covid period.

I am optimistic. It may well be that the Chinese can make things cheaper than the U.S.. But why is that?
The Chinese have often stolen the technology from the West, and they pay their peasants a pittance.
On a level playing field China is NOT more economically productive. However, they are very skillful in low pricing to undercut and drive competitors out of business. (that can be done with slave labor; not so easy in a free society.)

Just taking advantage of cheap slave labor…….although I notice increasing stuff from Indonesia and Vietnam, and things just “assembled” in the East, cheap labor countries.

The bonds have everything to do with it, but it’s much worse than you explained.
There are three big changes or differences in this market crash than any other crashes in our lifetime.
1. The cabal always wants the crash and they profit from it. This time, they are going to lose in a big way. They lose Everything!
2. This crash will affect and change the pension fund, insurance industry and financial industry forever.
3. This crash takes the power from government and puts it back in the peoples hands.

I tend to agree with what Franky wrote above. This is what i think is happening , & will happen. I believe all of the reginal banks will collapse , as i believe it is been done on purpose . All of these small banks will be bought out , by the 4 / 5 biggest American banks , which are part of the FED, then they will all merge with the FED, to form just one American Bank. then they will roll out the American CBDC , thus they will have total CONTROL. My advice is , if You have excess savings in these banks , convert it into Gold & silver, before they bo belly-up. I believe this could happen withen the next year.

Russia is in better economic shape than many large Western nations in terms of inflation and the level of sovereign debt, President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday.
During a working meeting with Economy Minister Maksim Reshetnikov, Putin noted that Russia’s state debt is only a fraction of its gross domestic product.
“It’s 121.7% [of GDP] in the US, the eurozone’s debt amounts to 90.9%, Germany’s and France’s total 66.5% and 111.1% respectively, Russia’s 14.9% is a well-performing indicator,” the leader stated.
Putin also drew attention to the rate of inflation in Russia, noting it is low compared to numerous other countries – including in the West.
“As of March, [inflation] is 3.5% in Russia, 7.4% in Germany, the euro area as a whole recorded 6.9%, while inflation in France and the US amounted to 5.7% and 5% respectively,” Putin pointed out.
And the west thinks they are winning in Ukraine, they will understand soon enough I suppose.
