Erik Wetterling – A Focus On Junior Companies With Majors As Partners In Exploration
Erik Wetterling, Founder and Editor of The Hedgeless Horseman joins us to discuss the disconnect in price action between the junior exploration stocks compared to gold, silver, GDX and GDXJ. This ties into a discussion on junior stocks that have major companies as investors. Erik thinks these stocks provide some great investment opportunities.
I keep forgetting to mention this thought…Somehow like most banana republics the general equities may bid up along w gold miners…Which will outperform by big margins…Thats all…an idea…Do we really need a market collapse?…I am not sure…Maybe the FED studies all the other bananas and is trying to do what works regarding stocks…and accepts that gold will go up also…maybe
Your idea is right. Relative performance is what counts. No need for a market collapse. The gold miners just need to outperform the stock market.
GDX:SPY is now daily oversold and at/near several supports…
Likewise, a bull market isn’t a bull market unless silver beats gold, junior miners beat senior miners and silver miners beat gold miners.
Based on the weekly RSI(14) SILJ:GDX recently hit its first weekly oversold reading in 3 years as it finally filled a large 3 year old gap…
Weekly GDX:SPY is near uptrend support but I’m not confident it will hold.
I appreciate that Mathew….Hope you are well…and I always value your overview….many thanks
Added to American eagle, Heliostar, Santacruz and back into Midnight Sun for the second time. Of course my account continues its downward move without interruption but I put that in the same category as protection money paid to the Mafia.
