Labrador Gold – Sale Of The Kingsway Project To New Found Gold
Announced yesterday, April 22nd, New Found Gold (TSX-V: NFG, NYSE-A: NFGC) has offered $20million in shares to Labrador Gold (TSX.V:LAB | OTCQX:NKOSF | FNR: 2N6) (“LabGold” or the “Company”) for the Kingsway Gold Project, in Newfoundland.
Roger Moss, President and CEO of LabGold joins me to outline the terms of the deal and look ahead to what the Company is planning to do in terms of future exploration on its Hopedale Project, in the Florence Lake Greenstone Belt in Labrador.
Please email me any follow up questions you have for Roger. My email address is Fleck@kereport.com.
I think LAB should buy NuLegacy and drill a dozen holes there with their cash in hopes of finding a Carlin elephant gold deposit of 10 or 20 million oz
I looked at my notes on NuLegacy and they said: “No more – company may be dead”
I’m sure there is things Labrador can do with the cash flow and it would be helpful to hear them sooner rather than later –
So, as a Labrador stock holder I’m wondering if I should hang around. Obviously Mr. Market didn’t think much of the deal and most seem to think that Labrador shareholders took it on the chin with this sell. More fundamentally I’m deeply concerned that we are looking at Labrador’s transition to a lifestyle company. They will need to do something soon or risk further share price drop.
