Do you have a trick pony in your quiver? DT
The rookies always think when they buy in based on someone who they think has a reputation that they just have to hold on, nothing could be further from the truth. If you don’t sell when you have a profit the only alternative is a loss. Eric Sprott tends to be a long-term holder but then he can phone up Quinton and pay him to go to a project and report back after he has placed one call to management. Individual investors rarely hear back from management or their IR department. Very few newsletter writers have Dr. Q’s wisdom and knowledge. You still must decide for yourself when do I sell. That is the one trick pony that must be in your quiver.
Often times one big winner will cover a lot of losses, but you must always get in early and never chase a stock because they will sell to you when you are greedy. To get in early you must be prepared to do some Due Diligence, that is the only way to learn this trade. DT
